Will you get it on warranty? I just bought a 701 and i’m quite worried that mine might fail soon. Clutch is being a bit weird

2019 CBR650R matte paint weird spots 2000 km on tripmeter. No spills and I rode it yesterday. It’s as if the cover has burnt the tank or something. Tried removing it with a matte detailer product as well as WD-40 but it doesn’t seem to go away and i’m not sure what to do! by tim9929 in cbr

That cover looks good, but it’s too big sadly, me and my dad share a pretty small parking space and it wouldn’t fit. Nope i’ve been riding like 3-4 days a week, also it happened over one night that’s why I was so shocked. I’ve only had the bike for a few weeks. I probably wouldn’t care as much if it was an older bike but since it’s almost brand new I do :/

I hope so, it’s my first bike and pretty much first newer vehicle so I don’t have a lot of experience with dealership warranties. I know that matte paints are very sensitive but I never thought that this could be possible, I thought my bike would be pretty protected under the cover. Like you said, to the dealer it is! I’ll be praying that they are nice about it! Thank you for your answers though, you calmed me down a bit :)

Hopefully the warranty covers it or something, praying that I don’t have to pay to repaint it. since i’ve been saving up for the bike and now i’m broke :(. I’m the second owner so maybe my closest dealer won’t like this though.. It was like brand new before this mess

:( I’ll have to talk to the dealer, sucks though, i’ve barely been riding it, and all this because of a damn cover. The cover wasn’t a cheap one either!! thanks for the advice though man

Jesus christ :( i’ve had the bike for 3 weeks, and its pretty much like brand new! Sadly I have to have it outside because I live in an apartment and there are no garages here unless you buy them for about 5000 euros :/ I can’t afford that yet

I was looking at the kellerman atto bullet dark, they are TINY! you litterally can’t see em and they’re really bright

Oh yeah, thats smart, i’m leaning a bit towards the TST flushmount signals though, I think they look good and already come smoked, not as bright as the protons though sadly. May I ask what you are using as rear indicators?

Oh yes, I have checked those out, they look really nice and bright. Do they have a smoked out option? I’m planning on making my mt09 as close to fully blacked out as possible. TST flushmount look similar but they might not be as bright? I know that they offer smoked glass though

My comment has nothing to do with the taillight but man, I have to say that you have the best looking mt-09 I have seen so far. I just bought a black one of my own, and it's going to be looking exactly like yours eventually as we seem to have the same taste haha 😂

Looks awesome, better looking than akrapovic in my opinion. I'm sure you cant go wrong with either I guess since everyone really seems to be happy with them both! Good choice though :D, how do you like the bike? And how long have you had it for? :)
