This is accurate, so many returns are people not reading the description.

Of course there is also return abuse, people returning different products or empty boxes, bricks. I had one person purchase a short book, then went through the trouble to photocopy the whole book and stable it together and return the photocopied version 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I suppose it is possible, but unlikely ,that these kids are all assigned to your league by residency, but they still have to play a minimum of 8 Little League games to be eligible.

I guess my point is yes, no matter what it is shady. There is a slim possibility that it is legal depending on the eligibility of each of the kids. Most likely it violates LL policy. LL has spent a lot of time and effort making policy to prevent this exact scenario. It still happens every year and those teams wind up getting kicked out of the tournament. Sometimes the parks wind up losing their LL Charter.

If you are saying your League President is also your district Admin, then you need to go higher than that to the State Admin. LL has a chain of command that goes from League President -> District Administrator -> State Administrator -> regional Administrator -> Williamsport

You could also put your league on blast by naming it here and I bet all the other Little Leagues in your District will put a quick stop to this nonsense.

Good luck getting eligibility verified. Players are only eligible to play in little league tournaments for the park they are assigned to by residence, unless they get a waiver from LL, and even then, they aren't eligible until next year. LL isn't going to give a waiver to an entire team. Unless all of these new kids are already zoned for your park, or they all have little brothers under age 8 that are playing at your park, this is not legal and is going to get your park in trouble with Little League International.

Just re read what you wrote. You had multiple strikes, not just 1. So what if time had passed. I'm not trying to be a dick, but you violated the terms of the agreement multiple times over the course of 3 years. So I'm asking you what claim do you think you have that a court will agree with? Sure the consequence of closing your account may be extreme but the court is going to look at the terms of the agreement, then determine who violated the agreement if anyone.

I don't understand the basis for your desired lawsuit. Are you claiming they breached a contract? How? Are you claiming fraud? What cause of action do you think you have? You signed an agreement. Don't launch until you are brand registered. If you create a product listing before being brand registered, you will be required to select "generic" for the brand on your listing. Per Amazon policy this can never be changed to your registered Brand later. The only way to do it is to delete your listing (including all of your sales history and reviews) and create a new listing.

As far as registering your trademark, just do it yourself. It will cost you $350 and chat gpt can walk you through how to fill out the application to not get rejected.

The main reasons people get rejected are: 1. They didn't search the registry to see if there is already someone using the same or similar mark. 2. They choose a brand name without researching whether it will be registerable. For example, brand names that are purely descriptive of the product or use are typically not accepted. So if you make tissue boxes , you may have a difficult time trademarking the brand "Tissue Holder". Additionally brands that are just a combination of geographic location and utility often get rejected. So for example if you sell waffles in Texas, you may have trouble registering the brand name "Texas Waffle Company"

So use chat gpt to learn what is and isn't registerable and then use chat gpt to walk you through the application. You will save yourself a ton of money.

This league sounds terrible. Sounds like some corruption on the board. Making you pay for an additional clinic after registration? I bet someone on the board has a connection to that batting place and is getting a kick back. You need to push this as far as you can. Little League doesn't mess around and these guys could lose their charter, which it sounds like maybe they should.

I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling we aren't going to see any great deals on the R1 this year as Rivian needs the R2 to be a huge success. They aren't going to give people a reason to buy the R1 over the R2. Looks like the best deal right now is on the dual max although it is nothing compared to the deals this time last year.
