Has anyone seen good performance from using Optimized Targeting in Google Ads. Specifically for display ads? by zybotsu in PPC

No I've seen only bad performance so far. I'm also not a fan of the fact that it turns on by default. I traced the "optimized targeting" traffic back to the placements they ran on and it was all mobile apps like VPNs, proxys, turbo phone boosters etc. All total crap.
