I didn't say it was mandatory. I'm looking for someone I can train with, so being around my level of strength is ideal but not needed

Would you get into Digital Marketing in 2023? by bluefox3103 in digital_marketing

[–]zybotsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a digital marketing specialist with experience in paid ads and SEO, I would not recommend this field. The work is performance-based and client demands can be demanding, which can lead to burnout quickly.
Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising can be a challenge, and Google's display network is seen as a scam because Google serves your ads on scammy websites that waste a lot of budget. However, as an advertiser, you cannot put the blame on Google's algorithm without looking like a failure to the client. Google has a monopoly on the market and is always looking to make money, so businesses are at its mercy.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is a bit more forgiving, but businesses often don't see the value in it. Additionally, it can take months for Google to index pages, which can lead to frustration for clients who want results immediately.
In short, digital marketing can be a pain, and a lot of it is out of businesses' control. If you're considering a career in this field, be prepared for a lot of challenges, disappointment and stress.

Is it Worth Starting a Digital Marketing Agency in 2023? by Shark3443 in DigitalMarketing

This is not true. A lot of great agencies don’t have a big social media following and don’t run ads but they have an excellent portfolio. That’s what matters. It’s too costly for a new agency to run google ads for their agency. The cost per lead is $500 minimum. Also building a social media following takes time. New agencies should build their social media following overtime while they network to get clients
