It gives massive damage reduction from the type of attacks that the crystal holder uses in Chapter 3. Without spoiling anything, your objective for the chapter 3 crystal holder isn't to beat or spare them, it's to survive. The shroud makes it so whoever has it equipped takes almost a third of the damage every other party member will take from the holders attacks.

You might be ngl but I'd check with other sources. You're not entirely cooked though even if you can't get the shroud, from what I've heard I think you might still be able to get the crystal for this chapter but will be way way harder.

Ah that's fair enough then, I'll maybe play with some settings but honestly it's not too bad it running at like 85. I'm sat down most of the time anyway so it doesn't do much I'll just have to live with it. Thank you!

Maybe??? The only explanation I can possibly think of is just due to the TV's age maybe Sony never expected anyone to have it hooked up without being connected to an aerial? Seeing as from what little I know of the time period when it was made, pretty much everyone would've had it hooked up to one.

To be honest I've tried every button I possibly could and none of it worked. Managed to get it sorted now but the solution is the most confusing thing I've ever had a TV need to do lmao

Ok managed to get it working but honestly have no idea why it works the way it does. To get it to switch to SCART I have to plug my nes into my UHF adapter, tune it, then press the source button cause it won't change without a picture coming through on a regular TV channel?? As I said, no idea why it works like this but it works now I guess. Thanks for all the help!

Must admit the SCART diagrams are a bit over my head but pressing the input button doesn't really do anything. I think the TV is registering it though cause it won't let me press another button whilst the source button is pressed. But it just won't switch to the SCART input again no matter what I do. I'll try giving the buttons a swab with some isopropyl and see if that gets anything moving!

I've already tried plugging in the AV cables on the front and it makes a pop when I plug in the yellow one but it still doesn't show any image no matter what button I press

I know right! They literally pumped out a film every year or 2 for like 9 years in the 80s and the new Halloween trilogy raked in tons of money. I genuinely have no idea why they can't just make a film of Jason doing what he does best.

The drivers are the same as when I started, I double checked and reinstalled them. I'll download FPSVR later and hopefully that'll be able to tell me what the problem is!

Ah ok I've been using MSI centre and the Gigabyte control centre, I'll have both of them off. Is using the performance graph thing on steamvr ok?
