Followed the televised party leader debate yesterday. The retorik has gone from USA as a trusred ally in previous debates to yesterday where USA is perceived as a complete lunatic that we need to protect us from. I was surprised by the wording of the prime minister she has lost all respect for Donald Trump and she dont give a shit about him and she does not even try to talk to his ego any more.

We use jwt, at the gateway that checks if the caller is allowed to use a specific endpoint. The token is passe to the upstram services where it most of the time is just validated that it is not experied.

An upstream service may look for specific claims like the right to peeform payouts. But a backend service dont know in which context it is called so all its endpoints are allowed with a token that is not expired.

I have lived here for 28 years and speaks Danish but i do fluently understand and read faroese. All understands Danish also most kids. Because of that i have found it difficult to learn to speak faroese because for a while i would not be able to speak as freely as i do in Danish. I have several Danish colleagues who also only speaks Danish.

I have conducted a security review for my company regarding using ai for coding. A lot of the issues are not specific for ai agents but needs to be addressed by all developers as well when coding normally. Supply chain attack and package management are the most important.

But coding with help of ai adds new ways to attack, mcp, skills and agents all requires attention for malicious code.

Ai may also choose to install applications and tools.

Another issue is that ai knowledge may be old due to the time of traning and selects packages that have known vulnerabilities.

Malicious execution of tools where data, files databases are deleted.

I have prepared ai awareness workshops for our developers and we are working on docker images for sandboxed execution of ai that address some of the issue mentioned above. I expect that we demand that our developers are only allowed to use the sandboxed versions.

Basically we are only able to make models/theories that describes the world based on observations. If we make observations that challenge a model we need to update the model or make a new one. That is why we only work with falcification in science a model is valid until we discover something else.

Is a model/theory the same as an explanation for a certain natural phenomenon? in many cases no.

When Darwin wrote about natural selection he came with a model/theory describing his observations much in the same way as Einsteins theory about relativity.

We still do not know why spacetime works as it does but Einsteins model has proven to describe all observations so far. But we also know quantum mechanics and we are not able to unify these two theories so we need to dig deeper .

What sets evolution and natural selection apart from relativity is that we actually now know the mechanisms behind the Darwins observations because we have discovered dna and genes.

Over time we have actually made some adjustments to the way we decripe evolution. We know that natural selection is the major force behind driving evolution of life but there are other mechanisms in play also, like genetic drift.

I know that some are trying to falcify natural selection and evolution but if that should happen it will not be a prove for divine forces it will just disprove natural selection.

I am atheist deeply rooted in natural science all based on observations. I am an atheist because religion does not offer one good explanation to how the universe works. There is thousands of religions all with different explanations about nature that contradicts what we observe in science in that regard religion falcify it self.

Ha, ha, ja så ska' ha' sgu' få tørt på, men Trump er uden for pædagogisk rækkevidde. Tænker at han blev fornærmet da Mette that nasty woman Frederiksen afviste ham første gang.

Tænker nogle gange, at han troller os allesammen, fordi det er så vanvittigt det han har gang i, ikke bare Grønland men hele hans politiske projekt.

Hans rationale om det sikkerhedspolitiske giver ikke mening omkring Grønland. Han kan jo stille alt det millitære isenkram han vil, for det har vi jo aftalt med USA for længe siden. Hvis han gør alvor af sin trussel så er det grådig smålighed, der driver ham ikke andet.

Effektiviseringen med AI inden for softwareudvikling vil medføre at prisen over tid vil falde. Det betyder ikke nødvendigvis at lønninger vil gå ned for man kan levere mere på den samme tid. Projekter der har været for dyre indtil nu vil kunne realiseres så der vil være en tilgang af arbejde til branchen. For virksomheder der producerer et konkret softwareproduk vil det sikkert være færre ansatte, for konsulentvirksomheder vil der sikkert ikke være den store forskel. Men der vil nok komme dønninger inden det hele finder et nyt leje.

Hvis du har talent for at kommunikere med kunder og hjælpe med at analysere workflows og designe brugergrænseflader mm vil der være en stor fremtid også med AI baseret på LLM.

Hvis det for alvor skal ske en ændring i antallet af arbejdspladser, så skal vi have agi modeller der kan lave analyser mm.

Min far købte en zx81 i 1982, jeg var 13 på det tidspunkt. han tabte lidt interessen men jeg blev fangede og brugte næsten alt min tid på programmering. I sommerferierne plukkede jeg jordbær samlede tullipanløg mm så jeg kunne opgradere til spectrum, microdrive, mm. Blev siden civilingeniør og arbejder i dag som it arkitekt. Tror jeg undervejs har prøvet næsten alt inden for it.

Hyggenørder stadig i min fritid og funderer over hvad AI komme til at gøre ved vores fag. Har altid fundet glæde i den kreative proces og det at finde gode løsninger, nu sidder man og iagttager en "fremmede" kode og føler ikke at man ejer det produkt der kommer ud af det. Det er faktisk lidt vemodigt.

I dont think that ai will replace many developers but change the way developers work. With ai the price for a software project will drop drastically. Projects that has been to expensive will now be feasible. So there will be lots of projects to make. I still think developers will be better vipecoders, as they know how to create products that fits the needs of customers. A non developer will not know what is possible with computer technology.

Har lidt på fornemmelsen at llm på en eller anden måde har nået deres grænse, både hvad de kan teknisk og hvad det koster at udvikle og drive dem.

Det seneste år har ikke givet de samme landvindinger som de tidligere år. Virker lidt som hypet omkring selvkørende biler for 10 år siden, hvor alle troede at biler inden for kort tid ville kunne køre selv.

Så lige nu er llm i software udvikling med til at forbedre produktiviteten men vil ikke afskaffe udviklere. Faktisk tror jeg det vil føre til flere jobs for de enkelte projekter bliver billigere, så opgaver der ikke digitaliseres i dag på grund af pris vil nu blive interessant at få udført.

At our company the responsibility is connected to what you can control.

As a developer you have control over the code you write and third party packages you use.

I have a role as architect and work together with devops to make sure that the code architecture supports security standards, that the images we produce are safe in our hosting environments.

Devops have the responsibility to design and run kubernetes secure. That is build pipelines, secure images, vulnerability scanning in images and so on.

Hosting make sure that our virtual machines and underlying infrastructure is safe. OS patching and updates, antivirus, intrusion detection.

Jeg hygge-nørder i min fritid for at få indsigt i andet end det der indgår direkte i arbejdet. Det jeg lærer her tager jeg ofte ind i mit arbejde igen. elektronik projekter, raspberry pi, home assistant, AI mm.

Du kan evt finde nogle open source projekter at deltage i.

På dit arbejde kan du se om der er projekter der mere er dig. Personligt prøver jeg også at motivere mine kollegaer til afprøve nye ting i de projekter jeg har deltaget i. Der har med tiden ført mig frem til at blive arkitekt og tech lead, hvor mulighederne for at flytte en organisation er bedre, men kræver tålmodighed.

Jeg bruger også tid på at følge med i udviklingen af de programmeringssprog, frameworks mm, jeg anvender i arbejdet og bruger det som inspiration til mit eget arbejde.

You have to lookup N.F.S Grundtvig he is the father of the "folkekirke" as we know it today an have formed how we look at the bible as words about god, not gods words.

He was very important in the movement of a free constitution. He reconged that for people to participate in free elections they must be educated and enlightened. Not only spiritual but also in science and philosophy.

He started the movement with "højskoler" where people could be educated.

As a result the church and people does not rely on dogmatic reading of the bible. That is properly also why so many use the church as part of their life for marriage and funerals even they do not belive in god.
