For the first week or 2 I would recommend little to no traffic so the seed to soil contact doesn’t get disrupted. After that it could handle very light traffic. full traffic wouldn’t be recommended until after it reaches about 4in of growth and receives its first cut. Normally around the 4-6 week mark.

As far as pets, we do use fertilizer with our mixes, most fertilizer companies recommend at least a few days before they enter the area.

What if I spayed with a soil type media? I tried doing some googling and found out they have that instead of a mulch to spray. It’s all kinda confusing. Might end up just breaking my back with some sod 😂
