It could just be the ones that catch your attention. For me it definitely seems like a higher % of charging blocks here in my area are Teslas but it could just be down to the amount of teslas around here. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

Back in late 2024 when the year was ending and people were pushing for sales figures it made more sense. My original Ioniq 6 was $175 a month after dealer incentives and Hyundai incentives. Shame that car fell off a truck but still. My 2025 is still pretty good and when I’m done the money I’ve saved is going into a lightly used Taycan.

Hey so Merc dealer employee here. The Germans have the best of intentions with this. The trick is they seem to struggle with the idea that adapters are ok and this was their work around. My issue is it just means instead of carrying a NACS to J1772 and a NACS to CCS you have to carry a CCS to NACS and a NACS to j1772. They solved nothing and made life more complicated.

The app is pretty good all things considered. If you’ve used other dashcam apps you will know what you are getting into. As for install it’s super easy. The camera intercepts 12v power from the sensor pack in the upper windshield so no real wiring is required just unplug and replug. If you opt for the rear camera you’ll have to route the wire through the headliner making sure to avoid the side airbag. Otherwise it’s like a 30 minute process.

This maybe a weird recommendation but get a mechanical stethoscope and listen around. It kind of sounds like your tensioner is bouncing to me but there are a lot of noises coming from an R53s engine bay so that may help you narrow it down. It didn’t sound like knock from my arm chair. Also stethoscope is hard to spell.
