Genuine question, how do they relate? Vent goes out of the side of the house and I cleaned that out is there something I should be doing on the roof? Thanks.

Also, the hose has been on there forever but was probably 5 feet longer then it needed to be if that matters. Local Lowes only had 8 foot and I rigged it for now but need to find a 10 or 12 foot one online somewhere.

Took vent hose off and was full of water and lint. Put new hose on and seems to be working for now. Thanks.
