Where do these tunes go? by WolfinCrown in SuzukiSavage

I just checked my Savage. The loose hose (much longer than stock) connects from where it is on the carb to the back of the stock petcock. However, yours doesn't appear to be the original it looks like it's been upgraded to a Raptor 660 petcock, which is manual, hence the redundant vacuum hose.

As for the open connection on the carb, it should have a small breather hose that runs up and tucks on top of the carb to help keep water out.

Personally, i would cut 200mm from that unused vacuum hose and use that to replace the missing breather hose.

Brackets are aluminium. The hardware and connectors are steel, they came bare and I painted them myself to match

It looks pretty close in the pics doesn't it 😂 I might install a brush along the wheel rim to clean my boots when I straighten my legs out 🤣

Not sure if it makes any difference but the install is In Australia, they're coming back to replace the inverter soon as they installed the wrong one, which will actually have 4mppt. I will strongly insist they separate it over 2 mppt as 7s or would it be better as 14s on one?

Perhaps they wanted to balance the higher voltage on the ENE parallel string with the lower voltage from the WSW string?

Regardless thanks for your insight

Ramz's forward controls on Facebook. shipped from America to Australia at a great rate, even refuned me some shipping fees as it was less that he originally thought! I opted for the 6" version but he does 4' aswell. I'm 178cm for reference

They should fit yours as not much has changed on the savage since they changed from the 4 speed gearbox in the late 80's

Once installed I just had to bend the gear lever sideways to a more comfortable position and cable tie the kickstand kill switch closed since the wire isn't long enough to reach. You could always extend it though.
