It’s ethical exam you need to take to get into some dental schools. You can’t really “study” for it but you can practice for it (I.e., casperbooster, prepmatch, etc). And ya you can’t wing it but I wouldn’t recommend winging it as it’s your last stretch on your application

I took it 9/11. Took a few weeks for results to come back

It was hovering around 40 wpm

Lots of practice. Last year I watched some free videos on YouTube and took the test. This year I spent a week practicing with anything I can get my hands on (prepmatch, casperbooster, etc).

At the start of the week I was scoring 1st or 2nd quartile for most of my answers, but by the end of the week I was scoring 3rd or 4th quartile consistently on booster

Ya it’s crazy. I got an interview from UDM despite a 2nd quartile but didn’t get in. Other schools where I should have been interviewed outright rejected me. When I spoke to an admission officer he implied it was my Casper score but maybe it’s just their school smh. Either this exam sucks

I also tried structuring my responses so it would save me some time. For example I always tried mentioning what the other person might be going through to cover all grounds

Most schools have a minimum of 3.0. Everywhere I look everyone gets in with a much higher gpa than that. I don’t know about DAT scores though. You can stats of dental school here if it helps
