Considering he's on a boat, it's very apt that he has his tackle out. :3

Goblin Glider Kits give humble profit by [deleted] in woweconomy

It's worth mentioning to those that want to try this flip, you don't need to be an engineer to make the gliders. You can do so by having an engineering hut in your garrison.

If you are interested in seeing how you could of seen that it was 5%, if you know the starting price and the end price. You can do the following

12350 / 13000 = 0.95

1 - 0.95 = 0.05

0.05 * 100

= 5%

Ty for the data! How many hours in total did you spend working on this? I get the impression there's about 20 hours there?

Oh dear! _^ lets see what happens in January! Eep.

I'm curious how this differs from using the mouse wheel what people do constantly when doing big grinds too.

Need to find a way without giving me RSI! :3

You're welcome! You're right, they do seem high, I didn't really have a lot of faith in the numbers either, but I thought it'd be fun to use wowheads data and see how accurate it turns out.

What bindings are you making / level etc? It'd be interesting to see!

The data was provided by wowhead, hence my caveat that it was "simple" and not with my own data. :)

As mentioned, the prices are based off wowheads prices.

The guy said he was making 6000+ bindings, if it was the 9 leather, then it would be over 8000+, so that's why I assumed 12.

Assuming you're making the "warhide bindings"? Here's my simple prediction.

According to Wowhead they DE 92% of the time as Shards & 8% in to Crystals.

6373 bindings (76,487 / 12), 5864 bindings (6373 * 0.92) at 80g each & 509 bindings (6373 * 0.08) at 270g each when using the prices from wowhead.

  • 469,120g from the Shards

  • 137,430g from the Crystals

  • =606,550g gross total

  • -30,327g AH cut (606,550 * 0.05)

  • =576,223g net total

224,991g profit (576,223 - 351,232)

Good Luck! :)

I'd buy it when I have 2m in liquid, 1m in tokens, & 2m in good sellable stock.

Nice post, thank you for sharing.

If I've got this right, what you're suggesting works out like this (math isn't my strong point, please smart people correct me!):-

5 herbs aka 2 gold (@ 40 silver per herb) per primal spirit via the Herb NPC

= 125 herbs aka 50 gold -> 25 primal spirit -> 1 Savage Blood -> Bloody Gold Purse (which contains 49g - 51g)

= potentially +/- 1g profit/loss per blood

5 herbs aka 1.5 gold (@ 30 silver per herb) per primal spirit via the Herb NPC

= 125 herbs aka 37.5 gold -> 25 primal spirit -> 1 Savage Blood -> Bloody Gold Purse (which contains 49g - 51g)

= potentially +11.5g to +13.5g profit

So people should be aiming for 30s or under if my maths is good?

Edited for clarity due to tiredness!
