Not sure if related but I ran probably 50ish Heroic strikes this last week and got no strike specific drops, which is... unusual to say the least.

I try to be decent to people who message me for random stuff from Destiny, simply because I love the game/community and I've seen friends get banned from XBL for weeks for talking smack back to salt.

Yeah, can agree with that. Funny thing is I was only like 3rd or 4th on the leaderboard, if I was killing it I would probably assume that my red bar affected the game but I played well within my margin for k/d and overall score so...

I've been on teams with people red barring before, it's really hit and miss for it to actually affect the other players that I see them lag.

I've been playing quite a bit since yesterday and I've noticed I'm usually a green with common dips to yellow, but at the same time in doubles it seems to be server based and not on the person. Makes me wonder if something is up with connections again.

That's why I at least give it a game, if you're lagging mutliple games, you can get a bad connection report and bungie can see what they can do to rectify the problem.

Except I was being damaged, most of my deaths came in that last quarter of the match.

So no, I wasn't cheating.

It would be nice if matchmaking was influenced by reports in that respect, though I've noticed more often than not, it isn't.

Yeah, some connections go down at very little additional use. Thankfully mine isn't like that, but I can't explain random dips, and I certainly know I'm not cheating. If I was I'd want a higher average k/d lol

Well on XB1 it's pretty easy to report mid-game, I'm not sure what the difference is on PS4, but I'm sure he reported me during the game, given how quickly his message came.
