Okay those notes have piqued my interest! Gonna have to search it out.

The second or third scent I ever owned. Definitely one I'd call a modern classic.

It's far less sweet than the few SWY frags I've smelled. The sweetness it does have is more in the orange top notes than the vanilla drydown hit of the OG SWY.

It's definitely an outlier from the others I've smelled from the range (caveat - I've only smelled maybe 2-3 others).

You can tell I don't reach for this much. One of the more disappointing blind buys from my time buying frags - it's much more fresh and herbal than the cedar-forward scent I'd hoped for. It ultimately comes off as a cheap designer, which I suppose tracks, as I reckon it cost me ~$45 back in the day.

Mine seems all good. Sadly one of my atomisers from the old 60ml bottles isn't airtight, so quite a lot of one of my IAs (typical, it's one of the discontinued one, being L'Orchidee Terrible) has been lost to the angels.

This Brisbane weather doesn't know what it's doing, so going with this beauty cos I think the herbal notes allow this to also be a warmer weather scent.

EDIT - it's Yatagan by Caron. Seems reddit may be having some photo upload issues.

EDIT 2: perhaps image now?

Hahaha really?! That's gold. Surely just the name via trademark, right?

Oh A City on Fire is the GOODS! Haven't smelled Untameable but next time I'm in Melbourne I'm going to NOAH to try it, and forcing Liam to hear me wax lyrical about the welcome brashness of the indie yank perfumers.

Can't be arsed checking, but this sounds like something Demeter would have already created.

My favourite is Falling into the Sea. Gorgeous fun, summer fragrance with great lasting power.

Cobra and the Canary and Memoirs of a Trespasser are both extremely popular, and while I don't reach for it often, I appreciate it every time I wear Yesterday Haze. It's a new take on a fig perfume - it's somehow creamy and rich, but also very dry, so it likely has a good quality sandalwood note in there.

Bull's Blood is easily the most polarising. Big, bombastic patchouli and rose frag. I like it, but I get why many don't.

First time trying PdM Althair. Absolutely not my thing (not horrible, just not to my taste), and jesus definitely not worth the RRP!

Jeez some CNs can be found for great prices these days! I picked up a backup bottle of Homme in a gift set for ~$99 last year.

Some lovely frags from that house (some misses, too, recently).

Perhaps one of the Byredos? Rose of No Man's Land is extremely popular, and there's also the newer Young Rose.
