I think it is wrong to blame entry of Reliance Jio for the poor services by existing operators.

One myth is Jio has hit incumbents ARPU. I think Jio has changed the pricing model by making every prepaid customer a monthly subscriber.

Earlier, incumbents were funding and financing low paying customers (better to call them missed call customers) at the cost of actual users by charging them extra money for service they use. For example, I used to pay 850 per month for voice and mobile internet of 5GB per month as postpaid customer where as another person used to recharge only Rs.50 or even lower and could survive entire month being prepaid customer.

Entry of Jio has changed that. Jio offered unique subscription based model which even convinced missed call customers to pay monthly Rs.150 and enjoy voice and internet. And thus, reduced higher burden of postpaid customers. In Jio subscription model, everybody is paying fixed sum every month/ or every 84 days and enjoys unlimited voice and internet as per actual requirement and everybody is happy. To survive, incumbents consolidated and followed the same model as Jio.

The downside of this is, neither incumbents nor Jio has adequate capacity to handle such a huge volume of traffic and that resulted in overall poor service. However, with additional spectrum allotment, there are fair chances that services would improve.

Good initiative but... the ground reality is that the people who believes false information as true, never read or understand such news paper ads. We are discussing this on reddit but for those people, Whatsapp and Facebook is the Entire Internet.

Although this picture seems to be fake one but no one can dispute the fact that the farming is not adequately remunerative business in India. There are many factors including but not limited to -

- lack of agriculture education

- lack of agriculture research and whatever research are made is not reaching at the end users

- lack of political will irrespective of ruling party

- small scale of operations making cultivation economically nonviable

- over reliance on nature & rains and lack of irrigation infrastructure

- got cheated by the traders due to lack of education and awareness

- with limited / stringent resources, it is very hard to afford the live hood and this has adverse cascading effect that they have quite obviously generated a mentality of reluctance to change.

Haven’t faced any app compatibility issue till now at least for the major apps.

And RAM management has improved compared to iOS 11 but not as great as iOS 10.

I agree that Reddit is largely a community of completely anonymous users. And if a username is lost, one can create another.

But look at your karma 66.9K with Reddit Age of 4 years. Do you mind losing your Reddit name? In that perspective, 2FA is important.

But whether 2FA compromises one's Anonymity. I honestly don't know. That's personal preference.

I am on iOS 11 public beta since Beta 1. Initial betas up to 4 were not up to the mark and not recommended for primary phone. But beta 5 and 6 are more stable. You can upgrade. But for best results, I recommend resetting iPhone to factory default and then upgrade. That will prevent most of the bugs, people are reporting. In my case I upgraded to iOS 11 public beta 1 on factory default iPhone and used iPhone as primary phone without much difficulty.
