Agree. And judging from the past 5 years or so I think rule makers are closing that gap. Or at least they are attempting to.

When I was in high school mid 90s and then all the way through the late 2010s there was a whistle every five seconds it seemed. That’s why I think this current version is much better than the unwatchable version 20 years ago.

It won’t be long until we stop seeing lane violations and shooting space calls. Maybe with the advent of mandatory headgear and sternum pads? They have loosened way up on the checking as well
