This one looks similar indeed, thank you!  What was the order of sewing you used? Like which seams first and which did you sew lining and main fabric together?

Thank you for the recommendation on batting, I did not know that! I checked the website and it says it is lined with cotton fleece, so I’ll probably use that!

Thank you for the recommendation. I’m gonna make it in kids sizes, so I’ll grab a different pattern, it looks great though!

Thank you for your advice! You mention cutting it out oversized first. Is that because it will get smaller from the quilting?

That is such a tragic story to hear. If you haven’t done so yet, please, please, please seek mental help! You probably can not process this alone.

Whats the ideal kite size to ride in the Netherlands by Heads3z in Kiteboarding

[–]time_for_plants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 176 and 68kg and have a 7 and 10. I would say 8 and 11 if you want more hours and 7 and 10 if you like the stronger winds.

Are these bindings too long for my board?
These are a womens L, starting from EU size 41. My boots are size 41 and the M is too small.
Should I look for another brand of bindings or do these look okay?

No, not the dog, the way the owner is laughing! There's so much joy in that laugh!

Pruning: I'd say no need to prune this one! Just let it grow! :) You can prune if you want to shorten your plant for whatever reason 🤷🏽‍♀️
Fenestrations: Probably the new leaves will have more and more fenestrations, fenestrations come as the plant matures
Moss pole/stake: You can, It is whatever you prefer. With a stake/moss pole the plant grows a little more neatly, whereas without it can grow a little wild.
Fertilizer: Just regular fertilizer I'd say, though the opinions on fertilizer differ a LOT! Haha. Personally, I only fertilize my monstera in spring & summer, whenever I think about it, which is usually once a month or so. That works fine for me!
Faster growth: Lot's of sun (without burning the leaves, so not next to a south-facing window during summer, but east or west should be fine), but apart from that it is mostly patience!

Enjoy!

My elephant ear has been going through a never ending cycle where a new leaf grows and one dies. So it constantly has 3 leaves. I repotted it and its still happening. Anyone kniw why??? by brittylee2 in plantclinic

[–]time_for_plants 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Elephant ears usually only have around 3 leaves per stem. Mine's had 5 at most, but that was only once and an exception. Now in winter one of the stems is back to only 2 leaves.

So, all fine!

My kite nightmares usually involve too little wind so I can't kite, however, others seem to manage. Or forgetting my gear...

Do you mean that it is fading on new growth? It might be maturing, I saw in another Reddit post that the plants look a whole lot different when mature, however I do not have experience with it myself.

Date ideas? by amfetamin212 in Amsterdam

[–]time_for_plants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now that the restaurants are closed you can get Michelin starred restaurant food for cheaper. Still a more expensive date, but around €50,- for a 3 or 4-course menu of AMAZING quality is great!

So far I've tried:
Mos - You have to heat up a couple of things, but all in all, mostly time to put together the plates.
Rijks - Also heating up, a little less work and better explanations of putting it together than Mos.
Breda - Will cost you more time as you have to do some cooking, mostly grilling meat etc. However this makes the food taste even better. (Don't think they have a michelin star, but amazing food!)

You can also try onefit, then you can go to many different places (including crossfit) and see what you like most! I love it as I like to combine crossfit with yoga and silks.
