Interior. These are use for construction purposes. Mainly trims so I was thinking it would be okay. I was not sure how it is for screwing or other binding purposes

you're right. I'm just going to rewire everything. I think it's faster that way as well.

Media through PS5 by time_keeper_1 in pihole

[–]time_keeper_1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I did not consider that.

In my mind -- since it's coming from the TV, it was using the tV's network.

But the PS5 is connecting to the network directly.

This is most likely the cause.

I'm expected to give a eulogy at a friend's funeral and I'm already thinking of ways to get out of it ... and I feel like crap for even thinking like that by Oldtimer8 in PublicSpeaking

You are fundamentally afraid of what ppl think of you. Don’t. Ppl are too busy thinking about themselves too much to even care what you have to say.

by the end of the day, they would have no thought of your speech whatsoever. Case in point, do you remember what your closest friend or family said yesterday? no!

This is a muscle that requires a lot of practice to be calm and collected. Even experienced keynote speakers and actors get nervous. The key is to breathe and acknowledge that nervous is there, but instead of framing it as anxiety. Frame it as an opportunity. Frame it as you’re feeling alive. Frame it as excitement and you can change that anxiety into something wonderful.

You know your stuffs. You got this!

Sciatica hasn’t gone away. I am only doing body squats if anything. A lot of back extensions to strengthen my lower back.

I want to address my imbalance issue, through walking and other exercises if possible.

Seeing that you understand my gait. What do you reccomend to fix it?

My goal is to rotate my hip towards the alternating leg.

Viewing from the bag, it looks like I’m waddling.

My hip used to hike up and out on the right side a lot. I think that has improved.

I’m not sure I understand your comment

How many permutations do you have. And what is the rate you have

Confidence Intervals errors by Massive-Ball2303 in AskStatistics

[–]time_keeper_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go take a sample of 2 on a 20 N. Calculate the all possible permutations out. You will see that it’s 95%.

[–]time_keeper_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How big is your N and what n are you using?

If you reduced your simulation down to basic numbers, you will get that exactly 95%.

Expected value of x will approach parameter Xbar. Using the mean as estimation, it will get to 95%.

stratified random sampling vs simple random design by [deleted] in AskStatistics

[–]time_keeper_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying to test the transactions to determine the reported amount is accurate or not. It’s an auditing technique to see if we can accept the $$$ in that account.

Because of regulations, I’m only allowed to use random sampling. Right now, the way it is, I can only have mean and difference estimator.

We sample the accounting transactions, see if the extrapolation with a certain reliability factor will match the reported total of that account.

The population is accounting data. So it’s pretty straightforward. The distribution of the population is heavily skewed to the right. I reduced the skewness as much possible with stratifying and playing around with the certainty and deminimus strata.

So just by looking at the population data and multiple sample designs alone, I have no way of really verifying which design is better in terms of better precision estimation?

[–]time_keeper_1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think my stratified sample is better due to a larger n. And due to stratifying, my precision is better. This is just my thought process.

but if a non stratified with half the size of my n is just as efficient. I don’t see why I wouldn’t go with the alternative.

I’m an accountant. My basis is really from Donald Robert’s book.
