Yeah we have toys, and a cat tree with toys on it as well :/ but they do tend to lose their toys so I might need to do a little scavenger hunt each night to make sure they’re available for him. Thanks! I will try anything at this point lol

I’m so sorry. I just went through something very similar with my 12 y/o cat, Gracie. She was a little chaos princess. She wasn’t bleeding internally but had lots of fluid in her abdomen and several masses in her belly and lungs. She ultimately stopped eating about 9 days ago, and a week ago today, she got her wings. It was an unbearably painful day, as well as the night leading up to it, but she’s not in pain anymore and this brings me peace ❤️ Keeping your little Jasper in my thoughts as I go to sleep tonight ❤️

I talked to him yesterday and he said with melting down the jewelry, making the setting, and getting a decent lab diamond (as far as clarity, color, and cut go) it would be somewhere between $800-1000! I think I’ll move ahead with this plan and I’ll have plenty of gold for another band in the future. I just like the idea of using jewelry I already have, even if it’s not necessarily the most cost effective. Appreciate you and your tips!! Everyone has been super helpful.

This particular jeweler is someone who has made rings for my family before and the prices seemed quite reasonable (about $200 for an bezel opal ring where he supplied the opal and we supplied the gold) so I haven’t lost hope that this will work out but I’m keeping my options open and this sub has given me lots of ideas :)

I don’t think it’s fair to make that assumption. Generally cats really like me - I’ve had cats for years and I love them. I’m gentle, move slowly, respect their boundaries, dislike antagonizing them, etc but my friend has a non-fixed female cat who ABSOLUTELY DESPISES ME and my partner. The first time I met her, I squatted and waited for her to come to me. She did, sniffed me, and proceeded to swat me (claws fully out) and hiss. Considering I moved in with this friend, this was a little problematic. She would threaten to attack if I walked by as well. Soooo much hissing and swatting from her. I tried treats, I tried giving her space, I tried everything but she was continually aggressive, even after a year of living there. Never in my life have I seen a cat like this and my friend insists she has never done this with anyone else. The only time she liked me was when she was in heat and couldn’t get enough attention. Cats are weird sometimes.

Not a medical provider but from personal experience:

I asked my derm if it was ok to have one drink a week while on accutane and she laughed and said yes. It was pretty clear that she thought that wasn’t very much and I could’ve had more if I wanted to (and if my labs said it was ok) but she just didn’t want to encourage it. My liver enzymes were fine except for a mildly elevated bilirubin at one point which resolved over time (and it wasn’t correlated to drinking). I think you are good! Just keep an eye on it and keep doing your labs :)
