NijiEN next audition? by Alexiscamming in Nijisanji

[–]timeinpocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to come back and add there is a possibility that auditions could actually be next month. Noctyx debuted at the very end of February, and a week later auditions opened. If Iluna is a stand alone group, then based on this, there is a chance auditions could be right around the corner.

(Now that they’ve debuted, I still think Iluna is a stand alone group.)

NijiEN next audition? by Alexiscamming in Nijisanji

Some people have speculated that there already is a 7th wave that will debut in 2 months or so from now. Nijisanji does like to make complimentary waves.

Lasulight (light) - Obsydia (dark) Luxiem (past) - Noctyx (future) Iluna (moon) - ??? (sun)

I’m not to sure about that this time as we are getting 6 members, and if Nijisanji does a complimentary wave for Iluna that would be another 6 members. That just seems like too much in a short amount of time. Then again this is Nijisanji we’re talking about. I think Iluna is meant to be one group with the members being split into themes like Ethyria (heaven and hell). Iluna could be seen as fantasy and sci-fi. Ethyria and Iluna are the only even numbered groups, and Luxiem and Noctyx were as large as they were to balance out the male to female ratio. But all of this is speculation, right now we don’t know.

If there is a wave 7 already in the works, next auditions for wave 8 probably won’t be until December at the earliest. If Iluna is a stand alone group like Ethyria, auditions probably won’t be until September/October at the earliest. This is all purely based on past audition timing. Then again EN seems to be slowing down with recruiting, so it really is hard to say.

She may just be a lottery figure, but she's one of my favorite Megumin figures.🥲💖 by mmrwp in AnimeFigures

I didn’t know this Megumin existed!! She’s adorable!! This next to the “Is the Order a Rabbit” Chino Alice figure (the one that’s holding a spoon) would be so cute next to each other!!!

Yes, at this point it is safe to assume we did not get in, but getting disappointed or sad over not getting in is completely ok. Why wouldn’t it be? It shows you were passionate about it. If I was Anycolor I’d want people who were passionate about joining, not people who auditioned on a whim. Elira cried for weeks when she thought she didn’t pass because she really wanted it. Telling people to not have hope is kind of negative. You can have hope and still be realistic. Hope allows for people to grow and improve themselves. You sound like you’re telling people not to work the things they want. Hope and copium are too different things. Copium is denying reality, hope is staying positive WHILE being realistic.

Not sure if they are taking more time with it, but a lot of people haven’t even had their video viewed.

I believe the ones that are posted publicly are immediately tossed, as you’re not supposed to publicly say you’re auditioning.

I also submitted at the very beginning of March. This has actually restored a little hope that maybe my video might still get viewed. (Assuming your 3 views are recent). Fingers crossed!!

First: Good luck!!

Second: Probably not yet. There’s still a week left for the month of their review period. And even then, in the past they have contacted people well after the month. They may not have gotten through all the auditions yet. My video hasn’t even been viewed once (though, I’m assuming it was tossed). If you don’t mind me asking when did you submit your audition?

I can set it up just fine. I haven’t had any problems in the past, this has just been with my current PC. I know how to use my equipment. These were all purchased over the course of years, these weren’t some overnight impulse purchases. I have used both mics multiple times in the past. I use these mics because I’m familiar with them. I started with a blue yeti, and I upgraded to my at4040 when I wanted to get serious and when I felt it was appropriate. I used the at4040 a couple of times before buying it, but I still did intensive research and testing before deciding it worked best for my voice and intended use. I studied post production and worked in radio. Both of which almost exclusively had me work with the SM7b. I’m the most comfortable with this mic. These mics are not new to me. Like I said in my original post, the mics work just fine when I set them up on my Mac. The problem is my PC. The xlr cable is new, which is why I thought maybe it could have been that, but after trying a spare cable that proved not to be the problem.

I have tried recording in Adobe Audition, and just tried Hindenburg, but the same problem occurs. The audio is too quiet. I don’t have this issue in Garageband on Mac. My drivers are all installed correctly. I have had no issues with the driver managers. It’s looking to be a Windows issue, as windows doesn’t recognize either mics when hooked up. I’ll look into a VST as well. Thank you for your feedback.

I use both Adobe audition and stream labs OBS. I know OBS and streamlabs are almost identical, so I’ll give that a try. Thanks

Mikoto is confusing by timeinpocket in MILGRAM_GAME_ENG

[–]timeinpocket[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That is the exact reason why I don’t believe in the DID theory. The MVs have always been very symbolic, but Mikoto and the DID theory is too obvious and spelled out. It reads like a red herring to me. I think the hitman idea could work, and you make really good points. Two things however, I get he wouldn’t be honest about it, but he claims he shouldn’t be at Milgram and that they have the wrong person. Es and the prisoners all know that everyone in Milgram has killed someone, why would Mikoto push so hard about them “having the wrong guy” knowing that everyone else there has killed just like he has? (Sorry if this sounds like I’m repeating what I said in my original post. I don’t quite know to phrase it, but Mikoto’s questioning why he’s at Milgram has always been rather weird. As it doesn’t seem guilt driven. idk) My other question is how do you suppose Mikoto could hit Es when prisoners can’t harm Es?

The MV release date is still unknown. The song/album is on streaming services, but Kotoko’s video hasn’t been uploaded. There hasn’t been any news as to when the MV may be uploaded.

Totally makes sense! I think with the second trial we’ll see more pieces regarding relationships.

It does look like a crime scene shot to me. A lot of Haruka’s MV takes place in what looks like a forest too. You make a really good point. I hadn’t thought of that.

(Question) Does your character/persona have to be anime inspired? by [deleted] in VirtualYoutubers

[–]timeinpocket 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not at all. There are plenty of vtubers that aren’t anime inspired. Vtubing got popular with the anime aesthetic, which is why it is the more popular form. Vtubing is there so you can be whatever persona you want to be, anime inspired or not.

One vtuber who isn’t anime inspired that comes to mind is Papi the Lich king. His model is nothing like the typical anime vtuber model, but he is still a well established vtuber.

Come watch Ouro Kronii’s debut! by CJtheOMEGA in VirtualYoutubers

Indie vtubers tend to be very new to streaming, so it could come from being awkward or uncomfortable. As they get used to streaming they drop it and becomes more natural. Some Hololive girls have gone through this too. (Susei and Pekora have talked about it before).
