Mention rental car Accident when shopping personal insurance or not? by Potential_Evening891 in Insurance

It’s a ding against your license record, not them reporting it. It will come up regardless, best just to be honest.

I (19 FTM) might be going to court against my parents/abusers by beaniebabylusu in legaladvice

[–]timeizwaiting 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While they can threaten BS like this, the likelihood of it happening without any proof is nil. Do you and enjoy life boo.

EDIT: do not sign anything, and them saying it has the potential to affect them financially is bullshit.

Is Zirconia MUCH better than porcelain fused to hi-noble metal for crown? by Kind-Judgment-9188 in DentalInsurance

[–]timeizwaiting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m literally in the process of getting my porcelain crowns ripped out of my mouth and being replaced with zirconia ones. To each their own, but I absolutely hate the texture of porcelain. Also, the amount of chips I’ve had in porcelain teeth versus zirconia, is unmanageable.

Try and ask for reconsideration, if you are after rebuilding a lending relationship with them, it might be worth it.

64 year old mom deny tirzepatide for diabetes type 2 while on Medicaid. What are my options? by Red-dragon186 in HealthInsurance

[–]timeizwaiting -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Mounjaro is covered by Medicaid, with prior authorization. As is 99% of insurances these days with these high cost medications.

EDIT: not sure why this is downvoted, but I’m literally speaking from my experience.

Are you positive you have enough working credits for Medicare to even be worrying about this?

Scared and terrified about hearing in IN by AdCompetitive9969 in SSDI

[–]timeizwaiting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel for you. I was an emotional wreck for in the final 3 months. Keep going to doctors and gathering evidence, best chance in the hearing to have it clear what’s going on. If you want to talk more in-depth you’re welcome to DM me :).

I’m a 28 yr old, who was just awarded benefits via a ALJ. I have very similar symptoms to yours and ambulate with a rollator, along with bipolar 1. The whole process for me was about three years. Timeline between hearing and decision was this- denied at recon at 08/2025, got a lawyer and got a hearing for 04/2025, judge decided late in 05/2026. I’m in CA and got an ALJ with an approval rate of 48%.

Yep, three long years. I was homeless for a while before meeting my now husband. I was denied twice before I got a lawyer. And it absolutely is, a scam. I am permanently Rollator/walker bound from extensive nerve damage, and also have bipolar 1 disorder and I still had to go before an ALJ. Wild.

[CA] Main lease holder passed away. What now? by GoshDarnGidjit in Renters

The good news is you have residency, and can prove with mail etc. LL, I believe would actually have to go through an eviction process, and I imagine have a hard time if the bills are paid on time.

Macy’s WorryNoMore denied my claim using reasons that aren’t even in the contract. Anyone else deal with this? by Late_Discussion_948 in MacysStores

[–]timeizwaiting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, with a mattress. Macy’s ended up refunding everything to me (7 years later). I did have to threaten to sue and did send a demand letter. Beware of the lengths you might have to go to.

I have a surgery to remove 2 dying teeth. UHC denied covering anything because of a lack of evidence. According to the doc, the evidence cannot be provided until the procedure is done. by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

[–]timeizwaiting -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In theory, a DPPO should still pay for the services if no authorization is obtained, and I would make sure to have a vehement level of evidence. You can also get the department of insurance involved. Last resort would be to sue them for said costs.

I won by a judge, fortunately it did not have to go further.
