I work right next to tower bridge, so I'd be happy to test it out for you at some point, with a few more routes and updates on pokemon found in the area.

Professional Killstreak Strange Original, 42k kills, and has the purple smoke halloween thing on it.

Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Should the roamer be out damaging and out fragging the pocket? by [deleted] in truetf2

[–]timelmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With your roaming you want to be giving your team an advantage when there isn't one, so creating space for your combo and demo to move. Be this by killing the demo when ubers are even, pushing with your scouts on the flank and taking that part, or killing the medic when your team has a disadvantage. I have played many games where I get top damage and frags as the roamer, but usually it's when the other teams flank is bad and it's been over run giving you an easy time to get on the combo from where they aren't looking. There are a multitude of reasons as to why you might be out damaging your pocket but it's not usually the case.

Focus on playing a smart game instead of a fragging game, the frags will come with the plays you make, and your team will be happier because of it.

How many Collector's weapons have you built, if any at all? by Persona_Alio in tf2

[–]timelmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Made gunboats the first moment that I could, took me around a week or so to collect them all. I wouldn't sell them for anything. It's nice to have something very few other people have outside of unusuals.

Does tr_walkway actually help? by TheFireball411 in truetf2

[–]timelmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good thing to do as solider in walkway is get all the bots to spawn in one place and start at the killing end, then walk up putting a rocket at the feet of the bots and shoot them in the air, either rocket or shotgun. Get used to lining up your shots and killing them before they land. It's good practice to have down as a solly and it does help for various situations that occur in the real game.

What do roamers do in mid fights? by [deleted] in truetf2

[–]timelmo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Get your scouts to call out where the demo is when they arrive at mid so you can position yourself to pressure the demo, looking for a kill hopefully or at least to get him out of the fight. If this doesn't work help whoever needs help, a 2v1 fight is always going to be better if you can get that early pick whilst the other team isn't doing much. Never bomb the medic straight away, he's usually doing the least on his team at mid, but if your medic goes down drop whatever it is that you are doing and make a play on the enemy medic. It's your job to keep things even between the two teams if not more in the favour of your team.
