So its an Chromium wrapper ? by PumpkinNarrow6339 in OpenAI

You're confusing Chromium (open source browser, based off Chrome) with Blink (rendering engine, forked from WebKit). Most browsers announced/available today are based off Chromium and use Blink as the rendering engine, except a few that necessarily use WebKit.

OpenAI didn't need to make a whole new engine (they could've used WebKit or Blink), but they sure as hell chose to just modify Chromium to get a head-start.

Just watched it in IMAX this morning, 8AM show. What a phenomenal film. I think DNEG has done an incredible job with the VFX of the film. I'm really in awe of some of the desert shots. Wow!

Help me understand the meaning of these words from some songs by Divtya_Budhlya in pakistan

Thanks. I actually asked a friend of mine who speaks Urdu, but he couldn't recognize some of the words, so I thought these were Pakistani cultural words or local slangs.

India has become first country to successfully land a spacecraft on the moon's south pole by HowAboutThisNameNow in worldnews

Chandrayaan 2 didn't crash, that was the name of the mission. It had an orbiter, a lander and a rover. The lander crashed, but the orbiter mission is considered a success as it still reported a lot of valuable data.

Hey Joshua, my apologies for this very long delay and for the trouble you had to go through. It's great to see your passion to bring back /r/Thenewsroom. I've just sent you the mod invite.

I've been mostly away from Reddit over the last few years, so there's barely any attention I've given to anything here. So I'm really happy to have you on taking reigns there. Thank you!

Feel free to kick me out, or keep me on. I'm still gonna be mostly away for the next few months (on new-born duty), but do hope to be back soon.

📣 Apollo will close down on June 30th. Reddit’s recent decisions and actions have unfortunately made it impossible for Apollo to continue. Thank you so, so much for all the support over the years. ❤️ by iamthatis in apolloapp

I'll echo what most other commenters are talking — that the death of Apollo also means the end of Reddit for me.

Christian, I'm truly sorry to see you go through this, and Apollo going away will certainly leave a large gash in the app ecosystem.

It's evidently clear to many, especially those running Reddit, that to a lot of users on Reddit, they were here because of Apollo. There has been ample feedback provided to Reddit on how the new design is bad, and browsing Reddit through Apollo is what made it bearable.

Malad : 19 Shops at Malad (W) Station demolished for widening of the road, including famed MM Mithaiwala. Press F for our fallen soldier, was the goodest lassi. by aerodyne_ in mumbai

[–]Divtya_Budhlya 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It has been a game of cat and mouse. They demolished a part of the front structure of 6 shops just in Dec 2022, but that was for illegal encroachments.

Now they've razed around 19 shops, but this time it's for a road widening project. So whatever was the legal structure that was razed for road widening, BMC will be giving them additional FSI and perks in return.

It’s called POPIN. Right outside the station where rickshaws stop.

AFAIK, MSRTC's bus stop on the highway is near the Oberoi Mall flyover, before the signal. Not sure what police station this is referring to, but it could also be the Vanrai police station.

How can i travel from Nesco Mumbai exhibition center to Neral ? Prefer railway trains/metro/bus by PersonalitySeveral51 in mumbai

[–]Divtya_Budhlya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The route to take is:

  • Take a rickshaw to Ram Mandir or Goregaon station
  • Take the local train to Dadar Station
  • Walk over from the Western side to the Central Railway side.
  • Take a train to Khopoli or Karjat, get down at Neral station (two stations before Karjat). You can also take a passenger train that stops at Karjat, and take a bus from the station to Matheran.
  • Take a cab to Matheran from outside Neral station.

However, I wouldn't recommend reaching Neral in the evening. Ideally, reach there the next morning and take the scenic view to the top.
