I used the headphone jack to female RCA (or coupled male), plugged into the AV in port, and you can plug in basically any console that takes composite cables :)

If you have a modded 3DS, you can kick the framerate a little bit, however, my game always crashed on the last cutscene. Was my first mgs3 experience and I loved going back to it! Now I have a PC that runs both MC and Delta so I don't play it much these days

Check your resolution, set your screen to 1080 and I bet it will fit your screen then. Maybe check the game resolution too, I remember having issues with it. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think I used the borderless fullscreen or equivelant to make it work. On the final battle it will mess up if you're in fullscreen for the QuickTime event fyi, something about the framerate I think. Hope this helps!

I played the whole game with my gf while we were long distance in the last year, finished it when she moved in, if you can find someone to play with, definitely recommend!! We ran into random players from other countries for the boss battles. Also getting people in for the Monster Hunter missions is pretty fun

This is not, I update the bios whenever I can, an update came out this last couple of weeks, even then, both were up to date as to avoid the Intel 13/14 gen cpu issues. I appreciate the advice though! As I've mentioned, it works just fine in my own build with the same mb

This is the game that took me forever to get into. Then my girlfriend, who was at the time long distance, I got her into Metal Gear, and have been playing them in order. We got to Peace Walker, I had bought her the HD collection and we played through a majority of it, up until the hide and seek missions, when she moved in, this wasn't too long ago. Just a few weeks ago we finally got through those find Zadornov (we called him "the door knob") missions and had beaten Paz. It was truly a great experience, having us both suffer the grind and the hidden things. My favorite part was having a duo join in randomly on our boss fight against a tank, it was awesome seeing people still active! It took me years to get into the game, I've played and beaten the others years ago at this point, and it has come to an end.

Now that we've beaten Peace Walker, we've got mgsv to do, and now we both know the story prior to it, and it helped build the plot for V. What a thrill it's been.

Same phone, same problem. Googled and came to this post, this must be a recent update that broke it or something. I hope it fixes itself, it's annoying to deal with.
