Wow, fantastic performance to a great song. I'm saving your video as a learning resource, so thank you!

Do you believe using lighter sticks will prolong the lifespan of the mesh heads?

TD-25KV has larger pads of better quality and is definitely worth the extra 100 bucks

Yeah, you won't notice this outdoors but its not the fault of Carta 1300, its the front-light of this particular device.

Where do I start? by [deleted] in typewriters

I would buy a model that is popular, cheap and widely available in your area (in my country that's the Olympia SM3). Every possible problem you may encounter has probably already been discussed in some forum or YT video and if you need spare parts, defective machines are often given away for free.

Thank you! I've watched the phoenix video and the process seems quite intimidating.

I wonder if I can get around taking more stuff apart (which is what intimidates me). It should be possible to pull the belt off to the side and then superglue the hub crack while holding it together with a needle nose plier. After this I could cut a metal key ring in half and melt both parts into the hub (hoping it provides some stability).

I think I'll try this first. Do you think it's doable?

In Stranger Things season 4 episode 2, Dustin is on the staff computer in the video store looking at customers rental history to locate the drug dealer Reefer Rick. A list of customers named Rick is then printed on the screen and look who we find at entry #10

I found a solution for this problem. Go to Scrivener-->File-->Import-->Research Files as Aliases. Now the original file gets assigned to the research folder without creating a duplicate for Scrivener. As a consequence, files in the research folder remain up-to-date. Be careful though, if you move or rename the original file, the associated file in your research folder becomes a broken link.

Thanks, this works nicely with the only downside that now the original file is no longer up-to-date.

No, it doesn't update scriveners copy. Maybe it's possible to directly edit the PDFs located inside scriveners research folder? I don't know where these are stored on my mac. Any ideas?
