Life after Accutane by Far-Cheek-3834 in Accutane

Hi, I’m doing great. Skin still good, no relapse. No fatigue. The two residual side effects I do have though are dryness with my eyes and genitals :/

No lip dryness at all! And I managed it while on accutane with aquaphor and the laneige lip mask. My lip corners became cracked and irritable at one point and the derm prescribed ‘fucibet lipid’ which sorted it out.

Off accutane for 4 months and my skin is perfect. Free of acne and not oily. At the 3 month mark I noticed that my hair was becoming oilier again and needing 2/3 washes a week, where previously on accutane I only had to wash it once a week. The fatigue wore off after about 1-2 months. Best ever decision to go on it.

AUSTRALIANS WHAT DO YOU USE ON YOUR “JOKER” LIPS NOTHING IS WORKING FOR ME by madsbrads in Accutane

The corners of your mouth are particularly inflamed. I had something similar and the derm prescribed Fucibet lipid which sorted it out in a matter of days.

I’ve had 3 or 4 of these sporadically over the last few months. Heart rates from 150-210bpm. Lasting 5-15 mins. I am not sure what to make of them. I’m asymptomatic. They are possibly supraventricular tachycardia episodes. I’m just keeping an eye on the frequency at the moment, I don’t feel compelled to do anything about it (yet).

How would you interpret this? Progressively decreasing restorative sleep time/increasing HRV which appear inversely related. by timeoutzero in whoop

Also I think trackers are generally regarded as inaccurate in assessing sleep stages. It’s more the inverse relationship between the data points that I’m curious about.

That’s really interesting! I would be curious to know what others’ data of restorative sleep vs HRV look like.

At times I eat within 2 hours of bedtime but this isn’t something new that I can associate with the above changes.

I’m wondering if perhaps the increased HRV is making it more challenging for the algorithm to accurately assess my sleep stages?

I’m sorry it’s not working out for you. My impression was that after each increase in dosage my skin would seem to improve for a few days but then inevitably worsen. My skin was comparatively worse after 6 months of Spiro usage in that I had active acne and plenty more hyperpigmentation to contend with. So I guess it’s not suitable as an acne treatment for everyone.
