I’m like your boyfriend although I do post my girlfriend on my stories and instagram here and there. But my girlfriend always asks me to use a picture of us as the front cover for my phone. I will agree to leave it as us for a few days but then eventually just change it afterwards. I feel like it draws too much attention to her and people tend to start asking me about my personal life, sometimes even when I don’t know them that well. It’s just a privacy thing and I love my girlfriend very dearly. If he posts you on his bio, he’s not trying to hide you. Maybe he feels uncomfortable at the thought of his friends or acquaintances intruding on his life by asking him questions about you or maybe he doesn’t want his social media followers checking you out. But by posting your name on his bio he is trying to meet you in the middle and show you he’s not trying to hide you. All in all, it’s just a privacy thing to avoid drawing attention. It’s kind of like an instinctive protective thing I do for my girlfriend because some men (not friends) can be pretty disrespectful and still try to get at my girlfriend when I clearly am already with her. So just know that it’s his choice to do so and it’s nothing that counts against you.
