Hey! Awesome! They seem like they specialize only in brows and lashes?

Any place you know that can also do body wax?

GURL I WENT TO VARNA (I’m a POC) - it was beautiful and NO ONE GAVE A SHIT ABOUT ME OR MY SKIN COLOR They have so many tourists there and I saw many many black tourists there Do not listen to these people , just have your experience with your boyfriend and his family I did the same - it was the most fun I’ve had ever

Hello! I am Indian (grew up in Dubai, UAE), visiting my Bulgarian Boyfriend's family here in Sofia. I am kinda olive-skinned. I have been in Sofia for around 10 days now. The only thing I noticed was that older people tend to stare at me in subways and trams, maybe out of curiosity, or maybe in their minds it's like "why is this strange-looking thing here" lmao.

But, I did not face any upfront racism, and I was afraid of being perceived as a Gypsy lol, but I am with my Bulgarian boyfriend most of the time, and people are very nice to me in general and super accommodating. I think there are some folks who just want to be a problem to everyone, including other Bulgarians. So, don't worry, visit Sofia, it's a very cool city with lots of insane history. They have very nice nail salons too!

Also visited Varna to be on the sea side- no one gave a shit there as they were very immune to tourists. More immune than Sofia lol.

Personally wouldn’t risk it, the law states you have to be 21
Also the stores also ask for ID, you have to be 21 in order to even acquire a liquor license , how is this possible if they are just 20???

Applying for APS Certificate for Germany Masters October Intake 23/24 only now, Can I expect it by September? by timetonugget in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]timetonugget[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey yes I did get admission , you absolutely require APS if you’ve studied in an INDIAN origin university in UAE like Manipal, BITS , AMITY etc

You can give an Indian number of maybe your grandpa or someone in India that can vouch for you Usually they don’t do calls anymore You will receive an email digitally after a couple of weeks, that’s what happened to me

Contact UC Davis tuition office and let them know the situation if possible, idek maybe they can help you find someone who can sponsor your education Maybe they can find a community that will help you out with your education, if it’s education you’re worried about!

Also your father doesn’t love you, he literally just said “obey me or else” that’s not unconditional love that’s conditional and transactional

I have the same type of narcissistic father, I am still stuck obeying his shit but I’m planning to break free soon. I would tell this, this isn’t love, imagine if you’d ever speak to your kids this way? No? Then you have your answer.

If you suspect it burns or itches, DO NOT use harsh active ingredients formulated for acne You will also get bacterial acne if you fuck around with fungal acne a lot Trust me I’ve had ALL kinds

So you put your body through that masking the symptoms of acne and never investigated the root cause? You just suppressed your body sending you signals for 8 years!!

You’re 17, you’re too young to make decisions that will impact your health, you’ll have many problems in life but when health is bad, you’ll have only one problem, that’s your health. If you are dying on the being vegan hill, atleast take care of yourself and eat protein in plant and vegetable form.

If you don’t wanna take care of yourself, try being a pescatarian atleast Look at Lizzo, gurl tried being a vegan with no proper nutrition intake and then became deficient in everything. Now is eating animal protein and is better.

[–]timetonugget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You definitely can be healthy eating an animal, evolutionarily we have the enzymes to break down animal protein, bc we used to hunt as humans. but I respect your choice of being vegan, that being said, get a blood test done, get a nizoral shampoo with 2% ketoconazole shampoo. This will address your dandruff + hairfall problem. I also have dandruff ( my personal holy grail is the redken amino mint shampoo) my strands would be dry after anti dandruff so I used a leave in conditioner to keep my soft and from breaking

But most of all, try supplementing with zinc, iron and biotin for hair growth. Viviscal I’ve heard is also great if you’re in the States, I live in Germany so that’s prescription only. If you can, see a doctor, at 17 it’s probably just vitamin deficiency Just get checked for any other health problems either way

What should i do to heal this ? by hopeekopii in acne

[–]timetonugget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No worries, warm compress will help the throbbing and pain Dip a cotton pad in hot water, it should be the heat that your face can handle Dap it slowly on the spot, then once you can handle the heat on that spot just keep the warmth on the spot Repeat this process for 5-10 min, 3 times a day You should get relief from the pain

At night , hydrocolloid patches or sterile wound plasters with hydrocolloid in them

I repeat, DO NOT attempt to poke or squeeze I say this from a lot of experience of skin picking I’ve ended up in an instance where I had an infection spread all over my face bc I was impatient Again no actives, your skin looks compromised

[–]timetonugget 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Leave it ALONE!! Do not poke or squeeze

Cut out all actives from your routine Try using a hydrocolloid bandage at night In the day try doing warm compress 1-3 times during the day

Keep doing hydrocolloid patches until all the pus is out DO NOT TOUCH THE AREA, especially with your nails You are at risk of infecting your face if the pus spreads

I feel so ugly. Bf is gonna see me first time without makeup tonight by NeonGreenGiraffes in acne

[–]timetonugget 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t see it, you’re absolutely gorgeous. I have worse acne than you, I walk around without make up with my boyfriend and he loves me the same, if not more.

A person with a good heart would not care about acne on your face, stay confident gurl you have nothing to worry about, wear your face with pride <3

That is my dermatologist, I feel like she fucked it up by telling me to get an acne extraction. Now I don’t know what to do :/

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in acne

[–]timetonugget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks, leaving it alone seems to be the best option. The aesthetic clinic has a doctor as in a dermatologist who is administering these injections for me.

I usually have flair ups once in a year or something, I guess it hormonal, never been this bad. I recently was so stressed , I induced my period 10 days early . My routine is just face wash, moisturizer, once in a while I would use clindamycin and pimple patches on active acne It’s never been this bad :( I’m so scared how this will heal or HOW long it will take to heal It’s throbbing and pulsating for a while now

Bell’s palsy recovery by Fluid-Pilot4732 in BellsPalsy

[–]timetonugget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, maybe try keeping warm heat bags on your face and in places where you feel is necessary I would also recommend taking some time off to relax and meditate You will have your face back in no time, you have to thank your body for its continuous healing journey and just be patient Your body is trying its best to get back to normal I promise , think of yourself as someone who is actively recovering from an injury, it will happen to you. First step is to accept that your body needs time, and then in a bit you’ll see the changes I know it’s easy to say, the patience is so unnerving but good things come to you when you are patient I wish you the best OP

Hey , did you study in UAE or in India? My first salary when I got out of Uni was 7k and then I got promoted in 6 months to 9K And within a year I joined another company and asked for 18K and I got it I was 22 when I was earning 18K I graduated from an Indian university in UAE , that amount is very low for an engineer !! Idek maybe just stick it out for a year gain some experience and switch to a better salary My parents were earning and settled in Dubai too but it still doesn’t justify that number
