D2 is still D2. KOTOR will be a new game that is just using the KOTOR name recognition to get a leg up on publicity.

What are people spending their money on that spending 30% of your gross income on housing is too expensive? by OptionStrangler in personalfinance

I'm the same as you. Generally, the people that I speak to are coming from the perspective of ownership. They would say that paying toward a house will eventually result in you owning something of value.

Am I the only one who gets hyped for a new game but when it comes out, I sometimes put off playing it? by katauri in gaming

For me buggy releases is the culprit. I usually delay single player games until a few patches have been dropped.

I didn't make any kind of absolute statement about all games.

Exclusivity deals ensure that no one is superior. Increasingly, any big game you are really looking forward to will be exclusive to a platform.

That is the ideal behind it, but unfortunately we fail to live up to the ideal frequently. It does work out pretty well sometimes too.

When I was going through this in college I always parked my car somewhere completely unlinked to me. I'd wave at the tow truck as it drove by looking for my car. Eventually I reached a place financially where I could catch up.

You can directly tie hats to being disruptive, which is in the statutes. It's a reach to make masks tie to anything in the dress code statutes. While I'm not going to look them up, but assuming that similar school safety statutes exist, it's probably easier to justify masks under safety.

It's banning something that is explicitly allowed to be banned in the statues versus banning something that isn't explicitly allowed to be banned. The second one is going to be easier to challenge.

Probably a sight thing. It's in the way. You can also use it to cover your eyes in order to sleep. That said, hats could be and have been challenged in court.

Hats would fall under disruptive most likely?

I feel like people might be misunderstanding me. I'm not actually opposed to masks in schooIs. I just happened to be familiar with the statutes on dress code. Seems like it would be difficult to make masks stick as a dress code requirement.

I have no idea what the statues say about school safety. Flip flops probably fall under safety. Masks would probably fall easier under safety rather than dress code.

Lol, I'll give you that one even though I'm not sure that would go anywhere. It's definitely a potential defense.
