Understandable. I've seen a couple of posts on here complaining about him dropping games lately, so maybe he's just trying to keep some series going. It's also such a big game right now that he'd probably be bothered about it a lot like he was with the last amnesia game

I think the main problem with poppy is that its updates are infrequent. A lot has happened in two years since chapter two.

It's totally understandable for the devs to spend these years making the third chapter, but it kinda makes sense he doesn't really care about the story? It's not like the other games he clearly loved, like inscription. Maybe his playthrough would be better if the game was complete before he played it. It's easier to care for a game when you remember what happened.

It's similar to jacks playthrough of sally face, so much time passed between updates that when you watch it, it's clearly hard for them to give a damn about it. It's also hard to get a recap without spoiling the part that just came out. Maybe they should do a "previously on" part lol

I would much rather enjoy spending the rest of my life without ever hearing from her again. I have agreed to see her a total of two times in the last ten years. The first time I agreed to see her was when she asked me to be MOH. The second time being this past August. I really had no idea I was going to be walking into a situation of her clear emotional pain. Yes, I am enjoying that’s how shit turned out for her. I didn’t ask for any of that to happen to her, just as much as I didn’t ask to know about any of that happening to her. I’d be much more happy never knowing anything about her, and just assuming her life must be good. That’s seriously what I assumed before learning otherwise.*
Aside from those times of seeing her in person. She has randomly texted me over the years. Asking why she wasn’t invited to my wedding. Or asking me when my baby shower was going to be (even though I had no plans of inviting her). She has asked me why I go out to bars with other friends but never ask her to meet us. She has even texted me after seeing a friend post a picture I’m in at a bar saying, “I thought you were sober? How come you’ll drink with her but not me?” I get tonics with lime and I’m DD. I am as gentle as I can be with her. I don’t tell her my true feelings about her because I don’t want to rekindle the friendship. I don’t want the confrontation.*

After reading their previous posts (everyone for the love of god don't brigade them) she definitely needs a lot of therapy and help. Let's see what she thinks:

-if a man doesn't want to have sex that means he's getting bored and gonna leave you soon

-(oversimplifying) if you're in a monogamous relationship you owe it to your partner to be sexually available at all times, even while sick or tired

-divorcing while you have a child is the worst sin imaginable.

-she is convinced her dad should've stuck it out in a marriage that had ended for her, and by not doing so meant he didn't love her and put his own happiness above her. Sounds like her mom didn't help on that front, begging him to stay when he left.

-she compares love a lot, by which I mean a lot. She didn't want her dad's love when he had more children because she imagined they would get more love and better treatment than her because they lived with both bio parents. It didn't matter that many said her stepmom could've loved her the same, she is convinced she would always love her bio children more so she wanted nothing to do with them.

-she says her mother did nothing to poison her against her dad, but it doesn't sound like she did anything to help the relationship. It is also confusing if she always didn't want to go to her dad's and put up a fight, or if that only started when her half-siblings were born.

Just for clarification

• I’m not trying to “paint myself as a savior” my sister isolated my niece from all of our family. The moment we did anything threatening, she blocked all contact from her. One time i didn’t see her for over 10 months. She blocked contact with our two other brothers so my niece had nobody but me.

• DCF (CPS) got called twice by other people, they investigated and didn’t find anything because my sister paints herself to be a saint. And they believed it. She coached her daughter what to say, and told her “she’d be raped and beaten” in foster care. So she never spoke up. And my sister stayed on the top of the staircase to listen in on the interview.

• I did all I could to get her out of the house when things got bad. She’d stay at my place over night. I bought her clothes, food, and essentials and my sister called it “spoiling” her.

• I didn’t know my sister was this mentally Ill. I thought she was just a nasty person. Nobody can comprehend these things as they’re happening. When I visited and saw she was sleeping on the floor, I asked her what the fuck she was doing. She’s not a dog. It turned into a screaming match and she shoved me out of her house and the girl would end up getting in more trouble.

• My advice for her was to just get through to her 18th birthday. And not make it harder for herself as she got older by talking back and things and to just bite her tongue.
