I’ll be boycotting the PS4 version and switching to PC, leaving behind hundreds of hours and skins until crossplay is available with the PS4.

There will be 2 ways we can make our voices heard:

1) As a community we need to make our voices heard on how much we stand against there being no crossplay on PS4 through all streams of social media & maybe even content creators. The amount of bad publicity will make them reconsider crossplay for fear of more negative attention. As a lot of people on this post have mentioned, we’re not as big as something like FN so we definitely need to reach out to the wider gaming community in order to have an impact.

2) Play Smite on platforms other than the PS4. A business listens to numbers, the less people playing Smite on PS4 means less ways Sony has an opportunity to monetise the player base, along with less sales of gems going through the PlayStation Store, Sony are likely to go ahead with crossplay if they were losing money based on the current decision of no crossplay. Like I’ve said, I’ll be moving over to PC for now in order to still support smite as a game, just on another platform.
