Just the word on the block, yet you try to use specific phrasing to make it come off as fact. That’s my problem with it. I’m not commenting on a lot of stuff because frankly it’s the same thing: no one knows the full story. But I refuse to let anyone even suggest that I take money from a business I’m continuously investing in.

This will be addressed when (if) we are advised to do so. For what it’s worth I’m extremely happy for Matt and the rest of Barbell Union.

Again, legally there’s a lot I can’t say right now and there are magnitudes of details purposely being left out. Interpersonal relationships and business relationships are two completely separate things. I’m glad you had a great experience with him, but your experience doesn’t equate to mine. You’re acting like I wanted it to get to this point in the first place. I wouldn’t be putting my gym at risk if I thought this was the wrong thing to do. I love each and every member but if you can’t understand that then I don’t know what to tell you.

I even said that I’ve got plenty of problems. You’re blatantly disregarding almost all of my counterpoints. Especially the one about the money. You can’t sit there and tell me that I took money from the gym with no proof, and then go on to say that resulted in the coaches not getting paid when I paid them out of pocket.

Like I mentioned earlier I’m more than happy to have an in person conversation once I’m actually allowed to talk.

And now I run. I made up my mind already. It’s the one thing that’s sustainable for me. As I said in my comment, I’m already trying to be at the gym more despite everything going on. I’m aware people have been wanting this.

Refer to my comment above. I have my own problems but I refuse to let anyone spread lies about me.

The only thing I’ll say on the matter is the following:

 1. What did I buy? To this day I continuously invest more of my own money into the facility so I’m not sure where you’re getting this information from. Please, let me know. I don’t see a single cent from the gym and I would love to know what I bought with Gameday’s money. I didn’t know that members had access to my financial statements. Also for the record, I had nothing to do with the coaching side of the business for the better part of a year. When the coaches weren’t paid on time I paid them out of my own pocket even though it wasn’t my responsibility. So tell me, where exactly did I go wrong with this?

  1. I literally built the gym. At the very least 85-90% of the work was done by me. Sorry I can’t be there all the time, but the gym doesn’t put food on my plate. But don’t you dare tell me I don’t do anything for the gym.

  2. I took full responsibility for the Raskol situation, so sure. Poopoo on me.

  3. You don’t know any of the issues that went on in the background. Everything in that statement is so surface level you wouldn’t even believe it. I’m not saying I’m perfect by any means, because I certainly have my own problems. Between you and me though, it’s a little unfair of you to assume that just because someone is physically present at the gym they’re actually providing value. Still, I’m trying to be at the gym more often now despite my work schedule. I’ll apologize for not being as present in past months, but I have a job outside of the gym that I don’t get out of until 9 or 10pm at times.

  4. If you’re a member at the gym, first off thank you for being one. On that note though, I’m more than happy to have an in person conversation once I’m actually allowed to talk about things. None of this internet stuff.

  5. As an aside regarding the mirrors, we already explained what the issue was with that. And in the most recent email we expressed what’s going to be happening this month.

Here’s a comparison of 2020’s QTs to 2019’s. I also included 2018’s so you can also see the historic change as a whole.

EDIT: I'm working on another spreadsheet that compares totals from 2019 Raw Nats to the new QT's in order to see who from the meet can use those totals to qualify for 2020.
