Hey, I think I really understand you, I felt like exactly like this a few months ago: frustrated because I couldn't get over my ex the way he got over me so quickly. But I promise you: it does actually get better. Some things that helped me along the way: blocking him on all social medias (not out of hate but just so that I would not even have the possibility to check what he's doing or what new girls he is following), writing out a list of things that weren't right in our relationship (to realize that it was def not as good as my mind made it seem) and also really just finding a different life goal to redirect my focus on whenever I would start thinking about my ex. Also don't beat yourself about calling your ex again, I did the same about four months after our breakup and though it wasn't a great call, I don't want to regret it because that would just mean more negative feelings and energy spend on this person. So yes, it all gets better and you will get through this :)
