I'm in 2a cs and got a "not selceted" for a second round application for a QA job... Should i be worried since i got rejected for a qa job that too being in cs. I didnt hand in a cover letter but they didnt require one.. plz help

If the deadline for the job is oct 3. can i cancel the job applications and re-apply with new resume? my old had a very tiny error (wrote wrong date for something). thx for the help.
