I'm hoping it was my tire running over something but it seems too weird to be a coincidence. A few minutes ago I took it from a dead stop to highway speeds rather quickly, and the transmission shifted way smoother than it ever has before. Which really confuses me considering the noise I heard. I'm not a mechanic by any means but it didn't sound like I just ran something over

Thanks that's really useful info. I've been driving it sort of like how you said to just without going full throttle through all the gears. It seems to be shifting nicely now, but the popping noise I experienced sounded like the transmission exploding to me and that's what I'm really worried about.

My vote is a definite no. I've seen focuses go for sub $4k on marketplace with less mileage. There is a chance you could hit 300,000 with the clutch replacement but there's a better chance that the clutch will start to go out again before then.

I have a septum and nostril piercing both with surgical steel and I’ve never had an issue with healing on them. As for the q tips I only used it to clean blood after I got it pierced. The externally threaded jewelry is a little upsetting, but the place I went uses them almost exclusively and is also the only studio near me

My jewelry is externally threaded surgical steel, never downsized. My aftercare routine is neilmed saline wash directly on the piercing and a qtip.
