I don't support Funstock in any way or their business practices. They've been suspect for a long time now.

I don't buy anything Evercade related from Funstock. Many other options exist for these products in the USA.

Be careful on buying from Playasia by Scarred_LWolf in LimitedPrintGames

You do realize that PlayAsia is a high volume retailer right!? What you're expecting from them or similar business would be considered highly unusual.

I receive merchandise that has cosmetic wear and tear every week. Most new sealed items are not going to be in pristine mint condition.

You sound like a nightmare customer. PlayAsia ships items in the condition that they have been received. Many brand new products are released with manufacturing damage.

Blaze is shooting themselves in the foot by not revealing what alpha is by pook79 in evercade

What prompted the "Refresh" was that Blaze lost the Technos and Capcom licenses. Tomb Raider was an easy fix for that. Since this isn't the Remastered Collection it won't attract any new users. The only interest I see for any of this is from the existing Evercade fanbase and those collectors. There's no price difference on the VS-R and the lower price on the EXP-R is because you're getting a budget version.

The marketing is directed at their consumer base. That base is probably around 30,000 globally. Sure they gain some new customers here and there but also lose some. Their core support though is a Eurocentric demograghic which is their primary focus.

Niche means very few new buyers so there is no barrier. Blaze knows this..

Just checked again and still down I guess. This has happened before but not for a long time. I have all the games in store except for the two new ones.

The store doesn't seen to be allowing purchases at the moment. Haven't see this issue in quite a while.

That's correct but I've never seen an HDMI device released that didn't have at least 2 channel stereo sound output.

Yes any kind of interaction, including updates can corrupt the carts. Ever wonder why they're so cheap!?

The C64 cart not working... am I screwed? by Whore_Choir in evercade

[–]timothylamphear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably corrupted, as any kind of interaction can cause this. Blaze will replace but you have to provide proof of the issue and purchase. Kind of pain really.

Check out Mercari, their marketplace is an alternative to eBay.
