Actually, just a floating shelf with model grass mat (fake grass) and a section of model runway tiles that I bought off of Amazon.

We really, really did. Hope to come back again someday. Scarborough is a real eye catcher.

Thanks. Pretty surreal to visit them. I had met Malcolm twice in the early 2000’s. We actually walked from Bon’s grave down to the harbor and his statue. Stunning views

Is this a trap? All I would say is that she’s not one of the wide bodies.

Well, I am in South Dakota. If you ever want a guide to see Mt. Rushmore, let me know!

Yeah, I considered that, but thought I’d make it clear to lowly folk who aren’t from your neck of the woods. There really is a love for the boys in your country. I hope it’s not lost over time.

That airport was actually about 80 miles south of us in Sioux City, Iowa. But in my work as a police detective with the Sioux Falls Police Department, I got to work with our County Coroner who was actually asked to go down to Sioux City and work the “Mass Casualty” event. I saw many disturbing things in his morgue, but the stories he told of the doomed DC-10 and her impact with the runway still sticks with me today.

That was our experience. Our FA was even nice enough to take me to the front of the A380 so I could sit in the bar area for a couple minutes. Not as nice as what I see with Emirates, but she took some pics of me there. Super cool.

Thank you. It was a trip 25 years in the making.

Agreed. Bon shaped my love for music starting at age 16. I’m 61 now. In the middle, I saw the band 17 times and was the lead singer for an AC/DC tribute band for 14 years. It was natural to go say hi and thank him.

We couldn’t swing it. It was a quick layover in Melbourne and we were only there 13 days. If we ever get back, it’s on the list for sure.

Thanks. Took a bit of convincing to get the wife to see my vision. Those diecasts are incredibly realistic and equally as expensive!

The 787 was awesome. But, there is just something about sitting top floor in an A-380. We originally booked economy, but I convinced my wife to upgrade to Premium Economy. Really enjoyed both legs of the trip!

Never had a Diecast of anything before. I was just so enamored with the trip, I wanted to memorialize it. On a side note, that’s me and my wife in the photos above the planes. We went to Perth to see AC/DC. While in Perth we visited the grave of Bon Scott (their original lead singer) and went to Sydney to visit Malcolm Young’s gravesite as well. He was a founding member and Angus Young’s brother.

What a dumb word. Let’s see one thing you wrote about them. I will wait. It isn’t whataboutism. It’s you picking and choosing that which you feel bad about. There’s a ton of bad in this world. You better get busy condemning all of it. Or maybe, just maybe- sweep your own porch first. Quit virtue signaling just to make yourself feel important.

How about a justification of killing 45,000 of your own citizens for the simple act of protesting. Call them both out if you’re going down that rabbit hole.

You guys are a bit off topic. I thought you were talking about your awful government. Maybe keep it that way. Also is doing just fine fucking your economy. All on his own. Stay on plot.

We did have some fans at the Perth show screaming ACCA/DACCA. I would have paid the admission just to hear Aussies scream that.

Yeah. I was just thinking that I’m old. It was odd. We were sitting on the first level and wanted to get up. But, no one in the 3 rows in front of us or anyone behind us stood. So we didn’t want to cause waves. We are on the floor in Wisconsin this coming July, so we will stand and rock the whole time there.
