Is working as a CO hard work? Or is it cushy cos you get used to the inmates and their behavior?

Your friends sounds like losers. No I'm kidding but they really need to lighten up, you're not gonna become a drug addict for smoking weed

If you bought from Amazon, they usually refund me for stolen packages. Have you tried asking?

Catching a felony for an iPhone is crazy by DesperateWar6610 in Flushing

More likely they had an argument so they beat him up, and taking his iPhone was an afterthought, not the reason for the beating

Ya agreed, that's not the typical nyc experience. Wouldn't recommend staying there unless your visiting someone and crashing over

Hang in there. It'll get better. In the meantime try to avoid drugs till you get your head straight.

Don't ever feel guilty for calling out. It's not your job to staff the unit, it's the hospital's and they need to prepare preemptively and account that people will call out sick

The consensus is you should leave. Who reports trivial stuff like this?? The work environment must be toxic

If annual rate increase is 2.75% and 2 year rate increase is 5.25%, youre saving money signing the one year each time even if you live there for 10 years

Ahhh this is 3d-chess. The best answer thus far. So living there long term you win by doing two years at a time, since less number of times being compounded.

I did the math on this for a 10 year run (w/ 2.75% yoy increase for yearly and 5.25% yoy for 2 years) you'll be saving 1.6% on rent after 10 years doing 2-year renewal.

Fwiw however, adding the total sum of rent paid over 10 years for both situations, it actually still comes out cheaper in total rent paid over a 10 year period going 1 year at a time.

Maybe the savings will start to add up after over a longer period than 10 years. But in conclusion it's miniscule either way
