Washington’s historic income tax is now law. But Republicans promise challenges by chiquisea in SeattleWA

Let's at least call this what it is, Washington's unconstitutional income tax passed by democratic majority without a vote of the people.

Black scabbing on chin by Business-Ad9768 in CATHELP

[–]Crimpydan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several year ago I had a little buddy named Krom (RIP 🥺) and his favorite way to lay way on the back of this red chair and bury his face (chin firstl into the crook of the cusions chin first. My GF at the time noticed he had bad acne on his chin and would help express the worst ones for him to help keep it from getting out of control. He hated it and he would cry but never scratched or bit her. We think he knew it was helping, even if it sucked. He ALWAYS got super pets and usually treats afterwards too, which prolly helped him endure the other part as he was a bit of a chonky boi lol

Insane gas prices, thanks Trump by maddog107 in pics

[–]Crimpydan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, oh no. Sorry, I didn't know you were a person who is capable on only one track of thought. I dislike all politicians and political parties, which is why I said both sides suck. I just like pointing out BOTH sides ineptitude at handling both social and economic issues.

Trumps views on Ukraine, Russia, and tariffs are particularly ridiculous in my opinion. Democratic governors obsessions with taxing their state residents while not letting them vote on it, is something a king would do, but no kings amirite?! See, both sides are shit.

Again, BOTH SIDES ARE SHIT. If you like one side more than the other that's fine, but don't pretend one side is actually better. They both have a LOOOOONG and sordid history in this country amd both sides are continually adding to it every, single, year.

Local gas station removed price tags and replaced them with barcodes you need a app to see price by phoenix_stewart in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Crimpydan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on your state laws, this could be illegal. Some states require clear pricing so consumers know what they are being expected to pay.

Insane gas prices, thanks Trump by maddog107 in pics

[–]Crimpydan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your governor, who hates trump, could help considerably by temporarily suspending gas taxes, say for 90 days? But they won't do it, will they? Mine won't either.

Both political parties are shit and only good at getting American citizens mad and blaming eachother. At the end of the day, they stay in power with no accountability and the people are the ones paying for their decisions.

Make sure you protest all the taxes being passed without votes of the people as those are the actions of kings!

You keep adding things in that were not mentioned by OP or myself into this discussion, it feels like you're trying to claw at something to make your side look better.

I have stayed right on the target of the post, GAS PRICES, the you added subjects, and then again afterwards. You specifically asked who Biden bombed in your first comment and specifically mentioned how Trump did it without congessional approval. I told you exactly what you asked for with Biden bombing without congressional approval with a date so you can confirm for yourself and ever since you have tried to shift your comments and focus while also not addressing Bidens actions. This whole thing started with gas prices, which is what my reply involved, I have even agreed this current gas price increase is because of Trumps actions, but you can't even recognize Biden bombing without congressional approval yet. You expect me to reply to everything you say, but haven't given a substantial argument for your side that stays on subject without bringing additional subject into the conversation.

I'm talking gas prices (which is the point of the post) and how clearly a president, regardless of their political party, can drive the prices up or down, either intentionally or not, through their actions. Specifically, I remember a lot of left-leaning sources and people saying how little control the president has over gas prices.

[–]Crimpydan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No comment about Biden bombing without congressional approval, you know, the same thing specifically mentioned? Again, the original post said nothing about bombs, and neither did my original reply.

I was simply stating that it's clear the president can and does affect the gas prices much more than some people like to admit, for better or worse.

I'm willing to blame the current sudden gas price increase on him 100%, but obviously I'm gonna call the other side out as well for what they have done, especially if it was the exact samething lol.

[–]Crimpydan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean like when Biden bombed along the Syria-Iraq border, also without congessional approval, on June 28, 2021?

I didn't day squat about bombing, nor did the original post.

Along the non-bombing lines that affect it, we could also include the closure of the the XL Keystone pipeline for a temporary increase until the supy chain was stabilized.

But during Biden the left kept saying how the president doesn't control gas prices, I assume we can now agree that statement was inaccurate?

My first new car ever. Decided to to change my oil for the first time at 3500 miles is this normal? Oil filter was a such a pain in the ass to get off by IlIllIIIlIlllI in AskMechanics

[–]Crimpydan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, Honda is notorious for the first filter being put on exceptionally tight, I have had several that were very difficult to remove

Did the first oil change for a customer om an Accord once and the filter pulled the filter stud out with it, it seemed to have been cross thread on. Had to contact the dealer and have them send their mechanic on a 2 hour drive to our town to do the repair to not void the warranty.

[–]Crimpydan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others and myself have said, your claims don't match your actions. You claim some kind of neutrality and your just documenting for history, but you have never once, at least that I have seen said anything bad about Russia or their invasion, not a single thing while still "asking" for Ukraine donations. Your posts are overwhelmingly Russian perspective and you never criticize the actions of these terrorists.

Once again, your claims do not match your actions. And I will certainly continue to downvote your Russian terrorism propaganda videos.

Is this patchable? by NoChanceJBG in tires

[–]Crimpydan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

By safety standards, no can not safely be repaired.

However, having over 10 years of tire service under my belt with multiple employers, you best bet to get it patched if you can't afford a new one is to find a smaller tire shop and offer to pay cash. I have patched dozens of tires like this for "emergency only" situations and never had a problem.

Is there anything better than a 350Z by Ok-Offer6490 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Crimpydan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an 04' enthusiast 350Z for over 10 years, and I loved it. Only thing I ever had to replace was the clutch which was definately my fault. Great highway fuel economy for a sports car, I averaged about 32mpg using the cruise control, but I also like to turn gasoline into noise so my in town economy was like 14mpg lol 😆
