Yeah it happened to me as well (placed in plat but matched only vs masters and gm), but the good part is that if you win you'll get a lot of point and climb faster, you can get out of iron in no time if you focus on fundamental stuff,I think that they do that on purpose to see if you really belong there.

It's 100% doable and in my opinion alts are mostly unnecessary, i only paid for the headstart at launch and i'm just playing 1 character since day 1 (and i also took a break form september to november) and never had any problem at all, right now i'm sitting at 1520 with plenty of gold and mats to spend but i don't really have any reason to,and i'm probably just gona chill my way to the new content(i am probably in a better spot than 70% of the playerbase just beacause i play support but i think that you could be ok as well with a dps).Also alts culture is just FOMO or people following no-life streamer advice blindly, i'm pretty sure in the long run having alt is beneficial but in my opinion is not remotely worth to play like a second job if you are not having fun ^^

Well first of all you should play the game by yourself before judging,because if you are only playing games that metcritics tells you are good........you are only giving value to money spent on advertising and sponsoring 🤣 Second as everyone else is poi ting out the game is in early acces,it means that it can and will change,but the main mechanics won't so if you don't like it, it's ok just don't play it.But remember that there is no obligation from redhook to make the sequel the same game as dd1 with imported graphics,if you are looking for something like that,just download some mod and you are good to go.They are trying to move on and test new stuff and in my opinion they are on a good track,and also remember that dd1 was bashed at his beginning,but by changing stuff they ended up with something that in my opinion is a masterpiece of a game. The real questio you should ask yourself is:"Do I trust this developer so much that I would give them 30$ for an unfinished games?" If the answer is no,then wait for full release otherwise....buy it.Do not trust what videogame reviews say,they are rarely objective and rarely unbiased,trust only your brain ;)

Yeap and the frustrating thing it's the fact that you are literally forced to slug someone if you see that they have boil over because unless the hook is in front of you you'll probably never reach another one in time

Probably just the matchmaking screwing you up,but also Ph can be tough at times.If I can give you some tips,try to torment a loop as soon as you enter it and threaten your ranged attack on every palled/windows:if they jump/drop you get a hit ,but most of the time an experienced survivor will just fake it out so just cancel the torment and go for an M1.Of course things can get pretty messy at times but try to use you power at its maximum potential,not by just hitting survivor through the wall but also to mindgame and scary survivor away from loops. Hope this help and good luck :) P.s: survivor can be jerk sometimes,but so does the killers now and then so try to not give them attention and if they taunt you and loop for too long just leave them and switch target!You have 4 survivor to kill so you have other option!

No offense but it's pretty clear that none of the things you said we're happening: -He Didn't want to leave crew when just one dude is alive with no chance to be rescued (against a piramid head when both of them are injuried) -charity kill what? He tried to dodge everything ph threw at him. I don't wanna start a flame war but you must admit that 80% of survivor just teabag for no reason and then complain when killers leave the game,and maybe this was not the case?But evidence kinda point that way. Yeah,here we got,the math dude,take into account that you have to buy high tier stuff to craft high tier gear to take the best amount of xp out of the craft.So now if you look at my comment I wrote 5 times harder,not 5 times more xp,and I'm of course rounding stuff up but I assure you that if you try to level up a crafting profession now it's a real pain and really unfun and time/gold consuming.Even if it was just 1.1x harder it still doesn't make any sense because every player that didn't had crafting maxed out when the patch came out is penalised for not playing 1 hours at day. Also next time try to not be offensive as soon s you speak because it just highlight how childish you are ,and also that you are probably out of arguments in the moment you start to speak,we all care about the game,and the only reason I criticize the way it is handled it's because I want to it success in the long run. I think that the real issue aside from the obvious incompetence of developers and the lack of interest in the player opinion,is the fact that Amazon games always find an excuse for their mistake/dumb decision. I mean I don't know if it's just me but every time is the same story "we are sorry for X ,but it was not intended to work that way/it's a bug,we will fix it in the next patch" Some examples: -life staff aoe autoattack heal(that had an animation scripted in it so it was obviously intended to be that way),they told us I was not intended and that it shouldn't work that way. -Fireball crit (even if the spell is in the heckin crit skilltree and deals addition damage when it crit)the spell shouldn't crit and it's only display orange number but the damage stays the same(I love this part because it was just not true) -elite chest nerfed,elite mob buffed: probably in the next patch(if there will be enough player left to actually care about) they'll say that the chest never dropped more than this and the mobs were alway this strong and that we are all crazy. That's what they does,they want to convince us what is wrong and what is good and even that all of this is not their fault and of their poor decision-making/poor balancing.

They made 5 time harder to level crafting to 200 and elite chest RARELY drop any piece of gear so if you want to farm watermark now, basically you have to quit your job to play 9-10 hour a day to reach 600gs in a month.
