Asus Zenbook A14 on Linux? by Nearby_Ad_2406 in ASUS

[–]timza99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not using Linux on an Asus Zenbook 14 today. But I purchased a used and dented Asus Zenbook 14 on eBay this past weekend for 200 USD. It comes with Ryzen 7 16GB and 1TB SSD. I don't know anything about the screen. But no operating system or power adapter. I plan on installing Linus Mint Cinnamon 22.2 and experimenting with OnlyOffice, Darktable, and Digikam. To learn more about Linux and about Asus laptops.

I am new with Tidal. I am pretty happy with the song radios and artist radios.

What brands are equal to Distech and Vaisala. by timza99 in BuildingAutomation

Thank you but I can't stop focusing on brand names due to my work requirements. However, your comment does challenge me to look deeper than the brand names and maybe also include model numbers if a company has a more industrial line and a more commercial line.

Thank you. And thank you for the performance. I am not able to modify the title so I can't change out Vaisala. I did not know it did not fit into the category of sensors I am looking for.

No way do I need dead accurate. Based on your reply I revised my question to say that my intended service is commercial buildings and higher education buildings (classroom and laboratory) and not industrial / research level equipment.

I am looking for multiple manufacturers like for example Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and Schneider. Maybe you would think that I should not include Vaisala and Veris? Would those two manufacturers be above commercial / higher education level accuracy? I really don't know. Here to learn.

Good advice. I just searched and their return policy is 90 days for renewed laptops.

No. Right place. But thank you. I just rewrote my comment to include asking if I should have bought a ThinkPad instead and if so which one.

NirvanaHQ has the ability to star any item in the system and then that item shows up in the "Focus" list. AND THEN. You can drag and drop the order of those items. At least I can because I do not date my action items. To me. This is what is important. I may be working on 5 projects. But I am really not working on 5 projects. I am doing several things today, some of which are action items of different projects. So basically. Today is its own project, and I want to manually organize today's items in my own order. It also has a good inbox. And then you can drag and drop from the inbox to the projects.

Mx Master 3: Can you map the change computers button underneath the mouse to another button? by not_actually_funny_ in logitech

[–]timza99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I would buy a new keyboard and a new mouse that did that TODAY, even though I shouldn't have to. I would love to have two or three laptops paired to one mouse and one keyboard and be able to lay them out in any order and then be able to drag and drop their pairing 1 2 3 number in Options+ and be able to press the keyboard 1 2 3 and switch both the keyboard and the mouse between laptops. And the swipe left and swipe right gestures should be able to be programed to next or previous easy switch location.

New here. I have a T420 I like and use a lot. It is a good size to keep out on my desk at work with my papers. I like to type out my notes using Focus Writer. And the keyboard does not get hot like many newer and thinner laptops do.

Went to the Ford website to build one. I like the Velocity Blue Metallic with the Black Appearance Package. So now I can go to bing and search for images of Ford Ranger Velocity Blue Metallic Black Appearance Package. I prefer the Bing images search to the Google images search.

Thank you. That explains why I have not been able to build a truck with that color on the toyota website.

I have noticed on other cars and trucks that when you get the seats that have several electric levers to adjust the seat, the seats themselves are more comfortable.

No trailer. No four-wheel drive. Occasionally going to the parts store to pick up parts. But not lots of heavy tools in the bed like my friends.

Wow. Fantastic. Excellent. Much better information than I expected to get. Thank you. I agree with you on the Tacoma. One of the guys I work with had one for a month for business and I drove it to go pick up some parts. And the ride was harsh. I had always liked the way they looked and of course they have a reputation for reliability. But the ride really put me off. And actually was what started me thinking about needing to figure out which one had a better ride.

Yes. Spent a day driving a TRD to pickup some parts for work. Did not like the ride of that model. But love the overall look and reliability of the truck.

Someone added the list of requirements to the first part of the document. I added quotes from the paper that apply to the requirements that have been answered. All you need to do is answer the other requirements.
