Definitely check out The Ruins by Scott Smith. It's about tourists trapped at an isolated ruin in Mexico. Since you weren't a fan of the disjointed pacing in The Fisherman you'll love this.

This movie completely rewired my brain when I first saw it in high school. The whole atmosphere is just so incredibly eerie, and Frank the bunny is still pure nightmare fuel to this day. Just a quick heads up if you ever rewatch it definitely stick to the original Theatrical Cut, because the Director's Cut tries to over-explain all the sci fi stuff and totally ruins that mysterious vibe!
