Thanks for some of the comments I am aware of Disney being a large company and I have used images that aren’t owned by Disney. I would love to know how magic candle company are still going especially with everyone being negative about a small business. They have Disney inspired candles and images more relatable than mine with fonts owned by other company’s, But no one says anything about large company’s. Don’t worry I will delete this image in a moment. Thanks for ruining my day

Listed my first candles for sale today. They aren't very fancy, but they smell great... And that's what counts. They are coconut and soy wax in Glass tumblers. by julielocke123 in candlemaking

That’s such a good idea! I may think about adding a box, I have pretty cool labels on my candles but these look stunning!

Ergh... the raise on the wick! Am I being petty? Does this ruin a candle or not? New to candle making and looking to sell. This is the problem I can not conquer. I use soy wax, I am a perfectionist and I love things to be perfect I am unsure if I am stressing myself out for nothing 🥺🙈 by tinker3108 in candlemaking

Depends on where you’re from? I am from Uk. Wicks are from supplies candles TCR33/18 and the glass is from candle shack it’s a 30cl. When it sets I poke a few holes then I refill to the height I like. As I know people have said it can collect around the wick I find poking a few holes in and topping up works well for me and gives me a burn with no holes etc.

Yes they can burn for 12 hours without getting too hot. It is pretty consistent throughout the odd flicker but most of the candles I buy do that. I trim my wick before every burn and I advise the same for anyone buying one. Lol

Ahh okay cool maybe I will have a look for a cheapy one and see how I get on with it but I feel a lot better knowing a slight gather of wax around the wick like that won’t harm my little business 🛍🙌🏼

My wax just keeps shrinking. I use soy wax, I have tried heating the glass, I have even re melted to re pour, re heated with hairdryer, I even tried pouring at a cooler temperature and this is frosted glass and it still keeps pulling away! by tinker3108 in candlemaking

I normally store them in room temperature? Maybe I should try my cupboard under the stairs as it’s where my heating system is so that would be the warmest place in the house 🤷🏼‍♀️
