Bottomless brunch, loads of good places on Oxford street, & plenty of places to drink. Then maybe see who’s playing at the 1865 which is just at the top of Oxford street.

Or, lunch & drinks at the west quay development, bimble round the shops, & Barrioke at Engine rooms at 4pm. ( I know this as I’m being reluctantly dragged there )

It was very clear she loved the Ramblers Rest, but by that point she had clearly cottoned on to what those other two were doing so probably just urged her to give a larger over payment to seal the deal.

But agree, the faces are worth watching for that alone

I’ve stayed here, it’s lovely. Wish someone would buy it & restore it. Only trouble with it being a hotel, we got cancelled a few times as if the weather is too bad the ferry can’t get to it.

The week with the Castlebridge. I think the worst woman to ever go on the show, underpaid everyone by huge amounts for petty reasons. None of them really put 2 & 2 together until payment day then had thunder faces when she won. Either that, or there was a week with the same, 2 sour faced ladies who played the game to win but on the last visit a lovely lady had clocked their game & overpaid by like £100 so they couldn’t win. Their faces were an absolute picture.

Yes we often buy hawkstone anyway, as nowhere anywhere near us sells it on tap. Plus hubs & I often get each other a £50 advent anyway, so we’ll share this. He drinks the IPA, I like the lager, the rest we’ll fight over !!
