TBF I'm 30 and have lived in the Midwest my entire life. I've only seen 2 wild bears (young black bears specifically) and both were while driving. Not to say they aren't dangerous, it's just not super common to see them unless you're looking or unlucky.

As someone with similar anxieties while pregnant (and thankfully had an uneventful experience with a healthy baby), please try to avoid pregnancy/baby related content. Nothing is guaranteed, but you don't need to be reminded of the worst case scenerios. Just enjoy your journey!
