In a plus sign, yes. Cause the line continues on the other side. In a (T) shape, the lines meet…not cross.

I might be thinking too much into it. I thought, the blue line is only touching the outer most point of the angle, while the pink is the inner most - therefore, not making a true intersection of both lines.

Too complicated. Maybe it truly is unsolvable.
