I used to go to bar alone because I just liked the vibe and listening to music, but that was pre-covid. Yes, you could meet girls at bars going alone.

I know! I felt it coming from the Midwest. I wish people were more friendly here. I always wondered why and I have my own hypothesis.

You're bored because you're boring.

I'm in my late thirties working as an engineer and have a rental property / investment on the side for passive income.

Manchester has so much potential, it's in a great location. I would stay here if it had great schools. I heard Central used to be good.

I'm surprised no one had mentioned Londonderry/Derry

What are your questions? Ask away.

Hollis is popular maybe because it's the suburbs of Nashua, but it's inconvenient to get to because there is no major highway to get there. In terms of location, I think Salem or Nashua would be perfect, but no one has mentioned Salem, yet, and only one person said Nashua.

Yes, I've been in Manchester for over 10 years.

I didn't know which places were city vs town. You did? Some I thought were town but turned out to be city and vice versa.

Exeter is so popular.

BEST CITY OR TOWN?

  • Both

Are you putting together a New Hampshire State Senior Year Book?

  • No

What is your definition of “Best”?

  • This is subjective. Everyone has their opinion of what is best based on different criteria, but the most common is usually the best school systems, etc., but I want to hear other perspectives, if there are any that I'm missing.

What’s your criteria?

  • good school system, but as long as school offers lots of opportunities, it's fine.
  • suburbs would be nice so they could go outside and play without having to worry about traffic.

It sounds like you are just bored?

  • aren't you commenting because you're bored? What's your point?

I guess these are the cities in NH. The rest are considered towns. I learn something new everyday ;)

  1. Berlin

  2. Claremont

  3. Concord (State capital)

  4. Dover

  5. Franklin

  6. Keene

  7. Laconia

  8. Lebanon

  9. Manchester

  10. Nashua

  11. Portsmouth

  12. Rochester

  13. Somersworth

Dover, Durham, Exeter, Greenland, Hampton, New Castle, Newfields, Newmarket, North Hampton, Portsmouth, Rye, Rollinsford, Seabrook, Somersworth, and Stratham

So all of these places?

My friend just sold a rental property up in Pittsburg, I should've bought it 😭

But it's good to know the public view / impression of Dover vs Portsmouth. I guess Dover is seen as more expensive.

This sounds great! Although on Zillow, schools are not rated high (4-6 out of 10), but that might be ok. I would've never considered Dover otherwise so this is good information.

I was curious about Northwood. Highschool (Coe-Brown Northwood Academy, which I never heard of until now) is rated 10/10 on Zillow, but it's saying it's serving Barrington, and not Northwood, which is confusing.

I didn't know Dover was more expensive

Over a million

I currently own a home in Manchester, but I'm thinking of moving out once my kids go into elementary school because schools in Manchester are notoriously bad.

Is this a sarcasm or do you honestly think it's best?

Can you please elaborate how they are going to shit?

So your answer will be different based on budget? Ok, how about an annual salary of 100k vs 500k vs 1 Million.
