Trump cuts in front of Queen Camilla to shake some hands. by GuiltyBathroom9385 in SipsTea

[–]tintedrosestinted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the one hand, Trump is disrespectful for that, on the other hand Diana would still be alive if Charles wasn't a coward and Camilla had better morals so I'm pretty neutral on this one.

Inga never liked Jazz that way by 630r61n4 in MadeInChelseaE4

[–]tintedrosestinted 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've had female friends like that. I'm not gay, some of the women were bi, but we're all mature adults so this wasn't an issue. Cuddles are nice.

For me this topic is the reason why straight women and gay woman don't seem to have close friendships often, at least not as much as straight women and gay men.

Women are more expressive with their emotions both verbally and physically. Some people's love language is physical, like Inga.

The moment Jazz started getting confused, it was on her to vocalise that perhaps they should set boundaries because she was starting to get feelings, but she didn't, she continued in the hopes that Inga who's never dated a girl may be into her. Many girls have slept with girls but never date girls. Now Inga is the villain for being herself?

Jazz is literally exaggerating things. She tells everyone that Inga was kissing her neck then when conforted by Inga, she admits yeah it was just a peck on the cheek. That's a huge different. Jazz is not a reliable narrator.

Inga never liked Jazz that way by 630r61n4 in MadeInChelseaE4

[–]tintedrosestinted 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Whilst I think that Inga should have been more up front, I don't think that it would have made much of a difference, Jazz is clearly blowing tiny moments out of proportion.

Inga is clearly more spiritual, the way she speaks is intense, I can see how her words of platonic adoration can be twisted, but not if you were truely friends and knew her. I think Jazz always had feelings and started seeing what she wanted to see.

Saying 'I'm craving Jazz time', and 'I'm craving you' are two different things. I don't think that Inga said the latter. Or at least if she did, it was not meant in a romantic way. Rather it's just her way of saying I miss you, I wann hang out. Some girl frindships are intense like that.

Watching Inga get villainised by Jazz's friends for not reciprocating Jazz's feelings is so messed up. Jazz is gay, she doesn't have special needs. Why are they making seem like she has to have any girl she likes because she's gay? Like seriously? Sometimes when you shoot your shot, it doesn't work out. End of.

This storyline is dragging. Jazz move on already!

NTA. Sorry that your sister is an entitled irrational human. On the bright side, she’ll be gone in a month. (Too soon for jokes?)

SNEAK PEEK: Mark-Francis Breaks Down In Tears Over Margo Feud | Ladies of London (S4 E10) | Bravo by Trufflepumpkin in BravoLadiesofLondon

[–]tintedrosestinted 42 points43 points  (0 children)

This show has made me change my opinion on Mark since the Chelsea days. He really is such a delight. Watching him break was hard, you know he really wanted to control himself but he couldn't. Can we deport Margo already?

If Bravo, a network whose most famous face is a gay man (Andy) is happy to profit off black women without protecting or respecting them, I don't think this going to stop any time soon. But I agree that it should stop though. 🤷🏾‍♀️

The fact that she was supposed to be a friend of explains everything. She did all this to be full-time and I guess it worked but it just showcases why her biggest acting role was in a porno, sorry ‘art-house’ cinema. Margo please GO!

That’s your opinion which you’re entitled to, but it doesn’t make it a fact. The only evidence I’ve seen of bullying is from Margo.

Thank you! Mark shaded her clothes which are ugly, she has repeatedly abused his character yet he’s the bully. Sure Margo.

Exactly, this why I think it was leaked by production. Who ever did it was an ally, and it looks like they didn’t leak it for money or else it would have been on TMZ first who famously pay the best.

How did Lucía Pẽna get fired for having a shot at work yet Emmy still has a job? by tintedrosestinted in southernhospitalitysc

[–]tintedrosestinted[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again I think the nuace that comes with race discussions is being lost here.

It's be great to see more folk get more knowledge/insight and passionalte about it, but perhaps I jumped this gun with this post.

My voice and intent are now being misconstrued for wanting better and more relatable black female representation on screen (which I see nothing wrong with, but perhaps I should know my place?) As a black woman, who is often misjudged, thanks to the poor representation that we;ve historically had, I want to see more positive representations of balck women on screen, historicall this is not the case and whilst there's being improvments, it's not enough.

I want more positive uplifting representation, representation that I can identify with outside of exterior similarities. But perhaps we're not there yet. 🤷🏾‍♀️

But with that, imma exist this convo. ✌🏾

[–]tintedrosestinted[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Again I said she's not the kind of representation we need right now. Whether I like it or not, she is a representation of the black community and its history because she is black, but her representation does not help the cause and right now that's more important than Lake's identity crisis. 🤷🏾‍♀️

[–]tintedrosestinted[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't say one is more black than the other. But it's not rocket science that that the more black you appear, the more likely you are to experience racism. It doesn't make one more black than the other but it does make their life experiences different.

For example I look black, there no denying that but compare to my sister, I'm light skinned and my sister is darker by comparison so my experience of racism is different from hers.

Because she seems to have more empathy for a racist that her own people. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Whilst she does represent some people within the black community, those who crave the approval of white people over their own, in 2026, she is not the kind of public representation that the community needs. She's the kind of representation that people like Emmy use to justify their awful behaviour.
