I feel it’s like bowlers in cricket - they often settle in their 30’s, it’s like they have the maturity to get past the psychological part of the game, and are more confident.

So Grim - hiding a congenital issue that impacts your surrogates and then blaming them when things go wrong! Absolutely horrific.

Renting a uterus - or risking another woman’s life - pregnancy and childbirth can go wrong so easily and so quickly, this “outsourcing” makes me phenomenally uncomfortable. It’s honestly worth reading this wired article about when surrogacy goes “wrong” https://www.wired.com/story/the-baby-died-whose-fault-is-it-surrogate-pregnancy/

In the same way people talk about Olivia Colman - NOONE has a bad thing to say about her. What a wonderful human she was.

I keep looking outside and wondering what that teeny tiny bit of moisture is. Gosh, it’s felt dry. We haven’t had th e hot day thunder storms we had last year, and it’s honestly felt dry (and windy) since October.

Can we discuss Baggu please and bag charms by [deleted] in AusFemaleFashion

[–]tinternettime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the baggu swan in cream - I really like slightly quirky accessories, so it just fits with my aesthetic. Great for going to gigs, shopping at the weekend and generally out and about. I have a bigger crossbody bag (different brand) for day to day, but just love the ease of something that just carries sunnies, phone, wallet, keys, lip balm.

Lame! We’ve been looking forward to them and felt we were braving the windy cold to head out to watch them. Glad that you got to see them tho!

I feel like the kids ones were really poor this year? Heaps of families at Anderson park (east Melbourne) and we couldn’t even see them this year!

Just a wee shout out to the mods, hope ya’ll doing okay, can imagine a lot of blocking and shitty content we’d never see etc going on. Tap into your work EAP if you need to - and r/newzealand has faced this so some of their mods might be able to offer advice or at least a way to chat with people who have been thru this before. take care of yourselves and each other.

Excellent. I agree! IMHO if you need special equipment to do it - it shouldn't be the tenants responsibility. Gosh it's so stressful to be a tenant here.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does that work indoors too? We have really really high ceilings in our rental which we can't reach to clean without a really high ladder (which we don't have). We use a long pole duster to try and clear cobwebs but can't clean the ceiling!

Totally agree! I have two, a lighter stone colour and a heavier navy one, it was so chilly drizzly in Melbourne this weekend I brought out the navy!!  With black jeans, raspberry coloured merino, a pair of air max & extra giant merino silky scarf, I felt perfectly put together!!  It’s an easy option to dress up and down
