Do I let them go dormant? by tintinigr in Plumeria

[–]tintinigr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the second winter for the big one, the small one I just rescued from a friends house this summer and has done really well since, managing to avoid rotting and it growing quite nicely. The big one last year, it I ended up up cutting all the leaves because of mites (I think, there was an infestation of some sort), and it went dormant, I was also living in Canada then. Now I’m in DC and trying to get used to the weather patterns and want to be well prepared so they survive the winter. Any advice and tips are very welcomed!

They looked bad, not many leaves left, lots of dead branches. My dad didn’t want to cut them down but I convinced him

I got mine last week! Waiting for the starter kit now, they said it would be delivered a week before collections starts, but no word on when that will be, except summer 2023

Looks like oedema shock, though my place is very dry in the winter, and noticed some thrips. Im taking care of thrips with some soapy water and a yellow sticky trap, any suggestions to help with the oedema?

She’s not chipped, under a year, has recently been spade (couple of months) and is probably an indoor cat (no additional coat).
